Wonder if Lakers will unleash Ingram to win the SL championship 8)
Ball's best offensive comp is probably kidd. He doesn't pound the ball like cp3/rondo and gets it out of his hands as quick as possible. Defensively, Kidd was a beast defensively (man d as well) so that's unfair. He'll probably end up around Nash/cp3 level/curry defensively. He'll have a good steal/block rate, but it'll be off the ball like others have mentioned. He actually anticipates passes really well, might even be elite based on what I've seen.
Kuzma. I'm seeing young Robert horry type game. A bit of draymond in terms of versatility. Maybe a little odom without the handle. But he'll fit right in with Luke's position-less team. I like the pick. He probably should've been a top 15 pick (compares well with tatum's SL stats) ..maybe it's the lonzo effect. Maybe TJ leaf won't be as good as anticipated since he's not with Lonzo anymore. Or maybe Kuzma is legit on his own.
I saw our team almost lose that 20 point lead with Lonzo off the floor. His impact on/off is incredible. He's going to make our legit nba talent like Lopez/Randle/Clarkson look even better like he has with all our d league talent. Guys I'm feeling more confident in my playoff prediction. He's special! 8)

Lavar was on ESPN710 this morning saying that if it were up to Lonzo, he would play on a broken leg.
If you can't play Summer League without getting hurt... what's going to happen during the real season? They better rest him up these next few weeks, training camp is just over 2 months away.

His injuries were light. Flutz got hurt.. even Fox got shut down.
irvinehomeowner said:Kuzma may be the scoring wing the Lakers need. He was shooting 3s from beyond the arc and unlike Ball, the form looks good.
Maybe they won't need PG13 in 2018.
irvinehomeowner said:Starting lineup would be what?
Lonzo, KCP, Ingram, Randle, Lopez
Then 2nd level would be:
Caruso, Clarkson, Kuzma, Nance, Zubac?
Deng should be traded.

How about start Kuzma and Randle off the bench? Boom
irvinehomeowner said:Clarkson can be backup PG, which will give Hart time at SG. I think Kuzma can play the 2 or 3, and Ingram can be 1-4.
So when is the Lakers parade for being the Summer League champions? Do they get rings and a banner for that?
Perspective said:Low 40s in wins might earn them the 8th seed in the tough West, and a date in the first round vs. the Warrior juggernaut. Expectations would be zero, so it would be fun to watch.

jmoney74 said:Again, the ironic thing was that the Pacets took leaf. He will be exposed without playing with a guy like Lonzo.

I predict 41-41... I can see them winning at least 50% of their games.
