Junk fooding

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Have tried taco bells new dare devil loaded grillers over the last couple of days. Each grillers has beef/nacho cheese/red strips and the available sauces are chipotle, habanero and ghost pepper. The chipotle probably has the best flavor.  The ghost pepper has a good kick for fast food. The habanero is in between since it's not as tasty as the chipotle and not has hot as the ghost pepper. I hope these stay on the menu permanently - only $1 each.

You actually eat Taco Bell... What kind of Latino are you man! ;)

Regular Oreos are $6.49 after coupon at Costco.  That's 130 cookies at around $0.05 per cookie.  Best of all they come in 10 separate sleeves of 13 cookies, so you eat your unlucky 13 and the rest stays package sealed fresh.  Win win

Finally got to try to Sriracha Popcorn. It leaves a lingering spiciness at the end. Yum! $3.99 from HMart. I didn't expect it to be this good but I can finish the whole bag in one sitting.

Holsteins at SCP opens on Monday.

Were you on the sneak preview phase 1 release VIP list?  This place will need its own thread.

No. Just been checking every couple of days. I think the food is great so just want to go get some food

I still haven't figured out a decent strategy for tackling burgers like that one pictured above, especially in public. I've never really gravitated towards meals like that, "guy food", so I don't have a lot of experience. However, I am anemic. It is pretty bad. I have taken iron (ferrous sulfate) supplements for years and it does not help. I have always eaten leafy greens and it is not helping either. I don't like beans and lentils so I don't really eat that much of it. I've decided to try eating more red meat. I've begun ordering those type of burgers when I go out. Except last weekend I made the mistake of ordering a burger which the waiter said was 12 oz.!!! That was at Red Robin. I changed it to something smaller. Anyway, I guess you can just cram it into your face but that's just really awkward in a restaurant, kwim?

I don't know if by "tackling burgers" you mean finishing them or not making a mess. I assumed the latter, so here's apparently the "perfect" way to hold a burger:http://kotaku.com/the-perfect-way-to-hold-a-hamburger-proven-by-science-1513085238

Okay, I'll try quarters. Some of them are just still SOOOO tall, though. I just don't like it all over my face or leaking down my arms. Last time I grabbed it, the meat slid out the bun and fell straight down into the inside of my top! Not cool.

I've been asking for an extra plate then hacking it all up until it looks like an axe murderer butchered it and then eat it all with a fork & knife. At which point, I don't always have room in my stomach for the bun so I'm like, "Why didn't I just order a steak?" Well, not all places carry steak, so...

Yeah Carl's jr has burgers whenever they are open, so does BK and jack in the box. Jib has the best set up, the entire menu all day.

You guys ever wonder how they know whose order is whose at a double drive-thru? Today, I was in one and the guy in the next lane cut me off to squeeze ahead of me. I thought for sure it would screw things up. Yet they still got the orders right. I asked how. Any guesses...?

Went to Holsteins. As tasty as I remember. Had the nom nom and the Kalbi quesadilla. Wife had the lobster rolls.  It's pricey. With tip it was like 80.

I'm not a huge chip fan in general, however, I think that these are really good. It really DOES taste like country gravy!!! They nailed it. Good job, Lay's.
