qwertranslation #2: Ain't got time for that!!NewHomeOwner said:First post here, but I live in Sheldon and received the following information and attachment regarding landscaping my backyard:
A complete application package should include the following:
1. 2 copies of the Architectural Application Form (Exhibit A)
2. 3 sets of plans drawn per 4.02 Process/Submittal Requirements in the Design Guidelines
3. 2 checks made payable to Greenwood at Tustin Legacy; one for a refundable $500.00 deposit and one for a nonrefundable review fee per the fee schedule on page 18.
4. Color photos of the current conditions of the location where the improvement(s) will take place
5. Color photos of all proposed hardscape materials
6. If artificial turf will be installed, please include a small sample along with the specifications sheet (pile height, face weight, thatch, etc.)
7. Any structures to be installed above grade level require an elevation drawing
Here is a link to the PDF Design Guidelines I received -https://app.box.com/shared/static/210bpmdi3jyys769hcod7aizlpidt2qz.pdf

The only thing right now is that we have to make weekly trips to USPS for our mail since they are still not delivering it. Hopefully by February (if not sooner) they will start doing that.

Any other issues that you have had to deal with since moving in? I still have a little over a month to go before we close so I hope everything will be worked out by then.

Yah we go to the post office to pick up the mail.
Be sure to test everything after you move in. In one of our rooms, the ethernet port was not working correctly and found out that the CAT5 cable was damaged inside the wall. We put in a work order and they came fixed it for us already.

I just presumed in any new civilized area (this isn't some rogue project out in the middle of nowhere or no name development, you are talking option of some form of cable company or leveraging DSL or higher speed internet through a Uverse / FIOS type set up.
Plus, I presume Cox already services the rest of the Tustin Legacy / Villages of Colombus Area (unless I'm mistaken) so odd that their infrastructure wouldn't already be in.
Actually, when you don't have competition, it can be bad for you and your prices (maybe not satellite but Uverse). Look at places where Googlefiber is and what the cable companies charge (and let me give you a hint, it isn't near what they charge here). In the case of Greenwood...if your only option is Uverse of Satellite than you have very few options and they could, ultimately opt to charge you different rates.DJW1705 said:Bullsback said:Wow, I am quite surprised Cox isn't already part of Greenwood's tech plans (or at least some cable provider....Comcast, whoever). Who cares. Cable TV and internet, regardless of provider (Comcast, Cox, etc.), are all terrible and overpriced.
