That's a retirement home/condo in Laguna Woods Village, you have to be 55 years old and, in addition to purchase price, pay a monthly fee of over $1000.

I don't know much about rent up there, but I suspect $7,500 for a tract home represents the owners cost and <em>not </em>the rental market. I liked the bullet point about parking for 8 cars, funny.

See momopi's comment above. With the high fees and age restriction, this is little better than a mobile home. Sure does sound good though...

<p>As for your second find what that probably is is a lender who has their own warehouse line to fund loans and either couldn't sell the garbage loan or had to buy it back. While it may not be a scam there is probably more to the story and I would rather put all $40k on red. It doesn't look like a hard money lender looking for investors because the rate is way too low. </p>
 
Well, I was kinda tempted with the 18" noche travertine. But I resisted. Great find regarding the close out prices !!! This guy is F***ed.
