NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
When they start to recognize natural immunity, it makes less sense for vaccine mandates. I mean if you want to force vaccine mandate and vaccine passport (which is ridiculous as everyone knows vaccinated can stil spread it), and take away peoples right to sue for damages, at least pony up with some compensation scheme for vaccine injuries funded by government like Australia. But they won't do that if they do the narrative the vaccine is very safe will start to crumble as well.

Maybe...but stand alone, they are recognizing (for the first time) that natural immunity is powerful.  That needs to be repeated.

Yea, shocked, if you had alpha or delta you were largely protected from alpha or delta.

Guess we will find out next fall if it holds for Omicron or whatever comes next.

Bring it...could really care less. Both my kids have had significant exposure to Omicron and both are testing negative.  I like our odds. Both are still in school and living a normal life.  Myself and my wife are in the office and the classroom.  Live life...don't cower.

Don't listen to those guys. They're all jealous of you.

Because you know Orange guy is the real deal. He started at Fordham University and then had the balls to get Mike Shapiro to take the SAT for him so he could transfer into U. Penn. He always talks about Wharton, but he never went to Wharton. He was regular transfer student admissions into U. Penn (not undergrad business major at Wharton) and never went into the MBA program at Wharton. Talk about survival of the unfittest. Thank God his dad was self-made rich.

At this point in life where you went is sort of irrelevant...success is already in the book for you or not.  Now, I am just a sports fan with a connection to the school.  Trumps no different. I would trade my balance sheet for his any day...to me that's the real scorecard.

Did you even read the article you linked?

Are you skipping every other word or sentence when you read?

There is clearly something going on with your reading comprehension.

Don't be jealous of akula. Even though he's not on Kaos' or Trump's level, he did graduate from A Kindergarten University in Los Angeles, which is almost on par with UCLA.

Jen Psaki refuses to speculate WHEN the US will follow the UK in scrapping COVID restrictions because country is  still 'at the height of a pandemic' but says 'we don't want to live like this... we want to get back to not wearing masks'

In an interview with Fox's America's Newsroom on Thursday, White House press secretary Jen Psaki was asked when Americans can expect a loosening of COVID restrictions
She refused to speculate on timing but conceded 'we don't want to live like this... We want to get back to the point where we're not wearing masks'
Her comments follow an announcement by the British Prime Minister that America's old ally intends to ditch all COVID laws by this spring
Rules on masks in schools and work from home guidance were ditched in England on Thursday - and from next Thursday, COVID passes and rules on masks in public places will be over
Johnson also said he expects to scrap mandatory isolation rules by end of March
The US, meanwhile, is ramping up efforts to tackle the Omicron variant, which is slowing nationwide, by announcing plans to dish out 400 million free N95 masks and finally sending out free tests to households
According to data derived from online publication Our World in Data, for every million residents, the UK has seen an average of 1,400 COVID cases per week
The US has nearly twice as many weekly infections for each million residents as the UK, with a reported 2,233 cases, but Omicron is already burning out and states that led case growth last month are recording the largest drops

Texas judge blocks Biden's federal worker vaccine mandate

WASHINGTON ? A U.S. judge in Texas issued a nationwide injunction on Friday barring the federal government from enforcing President Joe Biden's requirement that federal workers without qualifying medical or religious exemptions be vaccinated for COVID-19.

Judge Jeffrey Brown, who was appointed to the District Court for the Southern District of Texas by then-President Donald Trump, ruled that opponents of Mr. Biden's vaccination mandate for federal employees were likely to succeed at trial and blocked the government from enforcing the requirement.

Ireland to scrap most COVID-19 restrictions from Saturday ? minister

DUBLIN (Reuters) ? Ireland is to scrap almost all its COVID-19 restrictions from Saturday, including restrictions on hospitality, limits on sporting events and the requirement for proof of vaccination at indoor venues, a senior minister said.

The government will retain a requirement for people to wear masks on public transport and in shops until the end of February and some measures in schools, Justice Minister Helen McEntee said in a video posted on Instagram following a government meeting.

Yes, side effects are real but most are mild and transient.  The majority of people with vaccine myocarditis recover quickly without complications. The CDC reports only 0.0022% of vaccine doses are associated with death.

If you don't believe in government statistics, then hopefully my experience can shed some light. Currently my hospital is NOT being overwhelmed with vaccine related complications or deaths. More than 80% of my COVID admissions are in the unvaccinated. The vaccine works and prevents severe disease and death.
