Now there are reports that California is the lowest states with Covid. If we all get together get vaccinated we will reach that key bench mark. (wishful thinking?)

No...that would be...Florida...

How did Florida end up with one of the best COVID-19 case and death rates in the US despite Gov Ron DeSantis refusing to implement mask or vaccine mandates?
During the peak of the recent COVID-19 surge in Florida, the state was recording 101 cases per 100,000 people and 1.77 new deaths per 100,000
Since mid-September, Florida has been seeing declines and is recording nine cases per 100,000 people and less than 0.2 deaths per 100,000
The declines are despite Governor Ron DeSantis insisting the state would not shut down and refusing to implement mask or vaccine mandates and instead focusing efforts on early treatment
Experts have suggested the declines seem to follow a familiar two-month cycle since the pandemic began with cases and deaths increasing for about two months before dropping.

Data from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) show Florida is recording one of the best case and death rates in the country.

From the CDC?....not from the Centers for Morekaos back-pocket?...go figure ;D ;D >:D

That DailyMail and not the CDC.

It?s also someone telling you what it shows and doing it badly.

Florida?s death toll (notoriously revised upward after significant lags, shows it?s 7 day average deaths is 113/day.  The lowest since the surge started.  That?s 113/214.8 = 0.526.  Far higher than the Mail?s reported 0.2.

California, is at 108/day.  Our pop is far higher, 108/395.1 = .273.

Of course Mid-Sept, to Mid-Oct both were higher still and Florida far worse than Cali.

Not from CDC. Those are figures reported to CDC from Florida, which we know is untrustworthy.

This is why you should stop citing articles from Daily Mail. Misinformation as usual.

From a third person perspective, I just don't find morekaos posting misinformation. There might be misunderstanding you might get from his posts, but I personally don't think he's spreading anything false. They're just his opinions with purple bold fonts.

He already admitted that he likes to post misinformation to get a rise out of trolling people on this forum. The headlines of the articles he posted are misleading and he uses that to spread his misinformation. And you actually believed in some of it.

Again..misinformation about misinformation.  I clearly stated that what I post is not misinformation but it can spark conversation, which, yes, is part of the point. ;D ;D >:D

CalBears96,

morekaos is draggin you into more chaos. You fell for it. Now time to get out. He posts stuff that could mislead some, but he doesn't post misinformation itself. See the difference?

If your position is clear, you should rather argue back with reasons and proofs, not name callings and foul languages. I feel like morekoas actually enjoys when others do so. So if you really want to prove him wrong, do so with more convincing words.

I already know the outcome though. You two will never agree on this thing no matter what. But that's ok. After all, it's a free country. No one should be banned from expressing one's opinions. I just suggest you guys stay civil.

You post source of misinformation. Daily Mail is a source of misinformation. That is a fact.

By posting articles that mislead is posting misinformation. If you can't see that, then we don't need to discuss anything any further.

Misinformation is a straw man, and not a very well made one at that. The left has their Pravda's - MSNBC, CBS, NBC, WaPo, NPR, NYT, CNN - the right has theirs - OAN, NewsMax, Fox, WND, ZeroHedge, - and some shared loons used ad nauseum by both the left and the right - FB and Twitter being the best examples.

There won't be any agreement on a reasonable, reliable source of facts since everyone - everywhere, not just TI - is dug in like a tick.

Might I suggest this: https://www.allsides.com/unbiased-balanced-news

An interesting site - at least for me - that paddles the canoe down the river by rowing first on the left, then on the right.

Enjoy.

This guy with the fake freedom. Free country. But spreading false facts is a problem.
This is why we are in this situation.

So if you read Mety?s response. He is saying the fake financial advisor can freely post what ever believes. (even though it is not correct) Which is true. But we can post a response.

He cries about banning or canceling. A dog whistle.
But no one mention that in the recent posts.

Suggest we stay civil. He aint going to do nothing. Do not try to threaten nobody. ##### please

You clearly don't know how to separate matters when it comes down to business. So you're saying you're not going to work with anyone who you disagree with? You're pretty much saying you decide everything based on emotion. Come on, man. I know you're better than that.

Yeah, keep posting responses. That's the point of forums like this. No one ever said don't respond. Actually you're the only one who told people including me to shut up quite a few times. I think you're the one who mostly threatens people. Well, I still see that as your freedom of speech so I respect you can carry on.

Last time I checked saying the words shut up is perfectly legal. (I dont think I said that, but you never know. You have to read the whole conversation)
You just said you suggest we stay civil. My response is or what else.
Why did you even make that post? It is circular at best. (At the end you said its freedom of speech so carry on) lol

I just choose not to deal with him after reading his posts. Perfectly legal.
