Strange that you mention these two places. I stopped in our local Mexican place for a pick up order (La Fiesta) and passed the new Sushi joint. Several striking things:
The restaurant is very large relative to demand. The dining room was a good 40 x 40 (formerly a Ballpark Pizza joint). Second, the wait staff was living up to the title - waiting, milling around, chit chatting. I'd say there were 5-7 customers and 10 servers in the place. If that ratio continues, and / or if the food is going to get bad reviews, the restaurant's got a short life span.
Driving home I passed Bruxie. You couldn't tell there was any business there at all. The property manager scraped everything out of the location, including the outdoor patio seats. No idea what's going back into that site. The sewer smell is a City, not property issue. I think there is a main line that isn't well serviced near by.
If you happen to wander up to RSM, give the aforementioned La Fiesta a go, as well as Hanna's - both solid choices.
My .02c.
