I eat all of my meals at home on paper plates with plastic utensils

:( Do you ever get a home-cooked meal?

Not very often. My wife and eat totally different things so we fend for ourselves. Occasionally we do Sunday night dinners and she makes me lasagna hamburger helper, one of my favorite things to eat.

Ah, now we know who uploaded this photo.

i_think_you_need_some_more_practice_640_22.jpg

hey my wife is bad, but not quite that bad. that was a funny pic.

The other half wanted to try it out so we went last night. 7:45p and the line was about 15 minutes... hard to get a seat though.

Got the burger, pulled pork and two dessert ones.

The burger was okay, tasted like any other burger so kind of expensive. The pulled pork was really good.

I like that they have agave sweetener.

Waiting for the lines to die down before heading to Bruxie...drove by a few times when I was around the area and line was out the door so I just drove on.  >:D

The line isn't that bad when it's out the door, it's just because there isn't much space inside to line up and they only run 2 registers.

You should go either in the morning or in the afternoon, that's when I've seen the lines at their lowest (yesterday I was at that plaza at around 3pm and no line at all).

Definitely not worth waiting in line for.  Maybe I'm the only one not enamored with this place, but I've tried it 3 times (2x in RSM and 1x in Irvine) and haven't loved it.  Maybe I need to try some of the sweet menu items.  Also, the kid's cheesy waffle is a rip off.  All waffle and no cheese.

I'm at the mercy of where my clients take me...I drove by when I was on my way back from showing Woodbridge/Westpark homes.  I'll try it again this weekend.  I just hate waiting in line to order food.  I like to get in and get out.

Your best bet is to swing by on your way from work during the week. If you have to go on the weekend go before 10:30am or after 2pm but before 4pm. Or you can just get u some G burger to hold you over. I don't think the lines here will ever really die down. They have that nightclub mentality by only having two registers and creating a line.

Yeah... that really irritates me... the last time I was there, they were only operating one register.

Are the other Bruxies like that?

The only other one I've been to is the one in orange. They only have one register cause the location is so old/small. So there is always a line when you go at regular meal times.

Weekly Bruxie check-in. Tried the Irish Nachos and gave the chicken another go. Wife and kids like it... very short line at 7:30p Sat night.

I thought you went to the bbq joint. Unless you did a double run (not unlikely considering who we're talking about.)

I just got back from The Cheesecake Factory at the Spectrum and I feel ill. I got "chocolate wasted".  :(

Btw, does this ever happen to you guys?...

I've been meaning to try Bruxie's for at least the last 5 times I ate out. I keep reminding myself throughout the day before. Then the day comes, I completely forget, and end up at a place I've been to a million times. I get home and remember I was supposed to try the place I haven't been to but it's too late. I don't go out more than once a week and by the time the next time rolls around, it's like Groundhog's Day all over again. This keeps happening over & over! Kicking myself.

Sounds like the opening hype is dying down a bit which is good...might drop by tomorrow when I'm making my rounds.

Haven't tried yet! The lines weren't bad last evening, but kids weren't game to trying something new. When everyone is hungry already we end up going to a known place than try something new. Time to get out of the door by 6pm for a 7pm dinner if I want to try Bruxie :-)
