Specific to FRE teaching standards and SVUSD school district standards appreciate if you could provide pros and cons.

SOCAL kindly need your inputs...

I'm sorry, I'm not sure I understand the question. Can you be more specific? When I first read it, I thought the question was if both districts adhere to California state curriculum standards. Here is a link to content standards for all California public schools. Does this help?http://www.cde.ca.gov/ci/

Can you compare for elementary school teaching standards
And differences between two schools you observed if any.

I see FR school strength is around 850+ compare to SG  650+
I see FR is grades from KG to 6th and SG KG to 5th.

Wow they must have found some straw buyers for Ridgewood because they are releasing the rest of homes in phase 1 Saturday along with phase 2 of knolls.  Let see how much they try to push pricing in these releases.

Someone told me you cannot wash your car even if you have a driveway at Baker Ranch.  Its in the CC&Rs.  That is insane.

This is correct. Actually this rule is becoming more and more common as washing your car at home is a gigantic waste of water.

Anyone live in a community currently that has the same rules? Curious how well they can enforce this rule unless there are neighbors on car washing patrol reporting you the management company...

It's a state regulation.  Since the street is HOA property they have to enforce it.  You can thank the environmentalists in Sacramento.

You can't wash your car?

Do you guys know if there are any Irvine communities like this?

All new communities in the state of California will have this rule since it is now a state law. Last time I checked the city of Irvine resides in the state of California.

Just some random thoughts as I flip through my photos of The Knolls...

- Goodbye, dining table chandeliers. Each plan was missing one. As the common areas of the home get more & more crunched together into one single small space, ubiquitous items like this are disappearing altogether.

- Buh-bye dining table. Period. You really won't need to worry about dining table lighting when you don't have a table to begin with. At the Plan 1, the only area provided to actually sit down and eat is counter-height dining courtesy of the kitchen island. That's IT! What's next? Put the island in the middle of the "Great Room" and cook / eat/ in front of the TV? This layout may work in a larger home but not something of this size.

- Sometimes I feel like if home designers' brains were dynamite, they wouldn't have enough to blow their nose. Plan 2's powder room, which rivals an airline lavatory in size, has an awkward door which can not open more than half-way without hitting the toilet. They have "remedied" this with a door stopper slash padded bumper installed at the upper inside corner of the door. Awkward. Why they couldn't have let the door swing outward instead is beyond me. That's how it is in my home with a restroom of similar style and size.

- "Pass the salt, please." It seems as if at every turn, a neighbor's window is directly facing you. When you're getting out of the shower. The living quarters. Your daughter's bedroom. Nothing is sacred anymore. Privacy is so pass?.

This time RidgeWood phase 1B sold very quickly compared to phase 1a. Only couple of them differed and few failed to show up.
Last week 2 left over home also old with 5K more. Phase 1B price are stable except 12K increase for model 3.
For Knolls very crazy, this time good number of home buyer failed to show up and few differed.
I see price increase for Phase 2 knoll from 5K to 15K.
