After 10 years in Irvine...I moved to the 'Hood and loving it !

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
<p>Major, I went to a British School and nobody understands me </p>

<p>I get SO tired of having to spell my first name over the phone and it's a pretty common name........ (extra dots this time)</p>

<p>"Peedee?....oh PEEDURRRRR"!</p>

<p>Where the hell do they get the "D" and all the extra "R's" from?</p>

I'm working on breaking my dot-dot-dot habit. Move over bacon; Now there's <a target="_blank" href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Semicolon">something meatier</a>!

peter, sorry to break it to you but if your daughter probably spent more than 600 on an lv bag. more like 2x or 3x.

maybe i should have just let you think it was 600 dot dot dot :(

The cheapest bag is $1,300. The LV store at South Coast Plaza is where the Asian girls take their boyfriends to validate appreciation for their companionship.

I've validated for my wife at least 3 times at that LV store. And Tiffany. And Gucci. I guess I'm a chump. But a very happy chump.

<p class="MsoNormal">Um, I think you guys are missing the point. </p>

<p class="MsoNormal">It’s about validating YOU, not supplicating to her. </p>

<p class="MsoNormal">You lose your value when you supplicate. </p>

<p>That’s why I never buy women drinks when I first meet them. They're expecting that behavior from guys.</p>

<p>It’s a hoop that they want you jump thru, testing you for compliance.</p>

<p>BK - I've been validating ever since our first date strolling the shops in Old Town Pasadena 9 years ago ---- and expect to be validating for many years to come. But that's all good. Treat every day like it is your 1st date, and it will stay new and fresh. And just so you guys know, that validating goes both ways....$1 or 2k a year for a new bag or braclet on the birthday or anniversary is a small investment for all they ways it comes back to you. </p>

<p>Happy wife, happy life! How true.</p>

It is like a parking meter. One has to validate the meter to avoid a ticket. If one parks there for a very long period of time without validating the meter then his car is towed and the impound penalty fee will be much worse. CK's car is very safe because he validates the meter frequently.

<p class="MsoNormal">That isn’t validating, it’s called social conditioning.</p>

<p class="MsoNormal">Happiness is internal; you make it external by rewarding behavior, which ultimately leads to outcome dependence. </p>

<p class="MsoNormal">It all comes down to the power of intention. If you want something, you can have it, as long as you believe in your self and your intentions. Value is endless </p>

Why do you need a reason to give? Why do you need validation to do anything?

<p>10xMn,</p>

<p>Please do not take the term literally. It is just a make up word for Asian girls who want really expensive things. This is extremely common in Asian Culture. Another facet different in Chinese culture from western culture is people fighting to pay for the meal at restaurants. On the contrary, Caucasians go dutch even during dating and even in marriage. Both CK and Acpme got it because they understood the idiosyncracy of Asian culture.</p>

<p> </p>

<p>Ten --- just to be clear, the whole validation thing is tongue in cheek. You are reading too much into this. </p>

no i literally have to get validation to park my car in my garage at night. if i dont, i get fined $10 which goes into a purse fund. :(

This is amazing.

Over a thousand bucks for a purse yet you worry about losing a few hundred grand on a home purchase.

Rememberthat "it is always a good time to buy" LOL

Have a FANTASTIC day!!

Enjoy

I suspect that Ten is <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Game:_Penetrating_the_Secret_Society_of_Pickup_Artists">Neil Strauss</a>, or one of his disciples.

Whatever. You find it amazing that a purse costs $1k. I find it amazing that people who live here would spend ten times that to go on a trip to Hawaii. WTF, just get on the 133 for 5 minutes and go to Laguna. But who am I to judge, if that's somebody's thing, more power to them. I'm sure you spend money on things Xsocal that I would never dream of...
