After 10 years in Irvine...I moved to the 'Hood and loving it !

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
I like long beach too.....especially ocean blvd. My boat,(nanowest) is in the marina there and I spend many evenings in long beach. If you want a great deal and really want to save some money, you can get a live aboard permit for the marina. There is a line, but it costs only about 200 dollars per month on top of the slip fee.

So, now you will need savings, we are neigbors, and ex - irvine renters.........you will need to stop by the marina and float and soak..........

Savinglots$$$Renting, pay no attention to the rude pretentious posters above who live in Irvine. Enjoy your view in Long Beach and love your life. My son lives a few yards from you at Villa Riviera and he enjoys his view, too.

<p>LOL, bkshopr! It is rumored that the nanowest actually inspired a TV program...</p>

<p>I am sure Reason watched it regularly 9pm Saturday night on ABC immediately after his favorite show Million Dollar Man. Don't forget Tattoo and Mr. Roark on Fantasy Island at 10pm. Don't post if you want to conceal your age! </p>

<p>a) <raises hand> I skipped most of the original post</p>

<p>b) but I like the guy's upbeat attitude</p>

<p>c) and even<em> I</em> watched The Love Boat. It wasn't cancelled THAT long ago. </p>

As you all know, my grammar bites! And I love to start sentences with "and" .... Oh yes, and my trademark..."3" dots breaking up my thoughts (because I have NO idea where commas are supposed to go)...

But getting back to LBZ...dig it, <em>love it,</em> wouldn't mind living there again. SoCalGal, perhaps I used to look into your son's condo. I lived next door (The Pacific) for a couple of years and my bedroom window faced the Villa. I would sit out on my balcony and <em>curse</em> it's crappy, peeling paint job. But at least it's a beautiful building ! I Loved looking at the gargoyles. The only reason I wouldn't consider living there is that there is no A/C ! Don't know how he does it...even with the "ocean breeze" just outside the window.

For the record, my high rise living experience was a great one. While making my morning coffee (ok, so it was 4:30 a.m.) I used to watch huge cruise ships silently turn 180 degrees while coming in to dock. It was mesmerizing. Like they were going to pull up right behind my building.

<p>I loved saving's post, I always like to hear other People's take on life, what makes them tick and what makes them sick....</p>

<p>It kinda reminds me of when our Daughter came back from London with a Luis Vuiton Handbag "Look, I saved $100 she exclaimed" I said "No you didn't, you spent $600"</p>

<p>I guess there's always two ways to look at things...some People are wise and some are otherwise, I think most of the time I'm the latter.</p>

<p>Talking of Snoop, here is is with Becks, pretty funny if you ask me....</p>

<p>Troop, sometimes I use 3 dots but often more....</p>

<p> </p>

<p>see?</p>

<p>I don't know where I learned to do this, the funny thing is, in work emails I don't use any dots at all, why is that? </p>

<p>Peter that's hilarious. I wonder if Snoop Dogg's kids are embarassed when he's around, heh. Roscoe's! Haven't been there in ages.</p>

Damn Pete, I'm surprised Snoop didn't pull out a gat and just shoot the ball. "We will protect this house"! LOL !

Oh, and Posh was shopping in Wilshire Division today...causing hysteria with the paps. Sheesh, at least she could <em>smile. </em>She always looks so grouchy.

<p>Regarding that Snoop/Beckham video (an idea popped into my head after watching a minute of it):</p>

<p>They should do a "real world" show where they take Snoop's kids away for 5 years or so and place them in a British boarding school. Allow no contact between them and their dad.</p>

<p>The reunion show would have these kids speaking proper queen's English with expanded vocabularies (of words found in the lexicon, that is). The funny part would be when they repeatedly say to their dad, "What did you say? Come now, speak properly please!"</p>

<p>Just a thought Snoop! Peace out.</p>

<p>ISB, Her coming home with the Tatoo's hurt more </p>

<p>Daedalus, I'm glad you liked it, I get a big Kick out of Snoop, I was watching the Euro Pop awards and he was the presenter, he introduced Amy Winehouse "She's not in rehab tonight, she's here t o sing her little heart out for you"</p>

<p>Troop, Posh is actually very funny, she has a great sense of Humor, you wouldn't think so huh?</p>

<p> </p>
