Who has moved in to the 2010 Home Collection?

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
The front yard is not included at Sonoma.  Only upside is that it's so small that it should not cost too much.
I was told that the little patch of grass in between the sidewalk and street is maintained by HOA.  I asked since I didn't want to hire a gardner to take care of that little patch of grass since I don't plan to have a lawn.

Congrats Steve.

As far as owner's title policy, I thought we have some kind of title policy when we did our loan.  I think that's a policy for the lenders.  Not sure if it's needed as this is a new home and shouldn't have an issue with title.

This thread will be more interesting in several months. I can understand some lurkers not wanting to post when they moved in because if you know the phase locations, you basically know the general area where they live.

Once the tract gets built out, I would like to know how it feels, morning/afternoon traffic, noise and especially how the Montecito/Carmel parking dynamics are working.

Like I said, seeing how they look now they are getting finished is much nicer than I expected.

Oh... and the other thing I want to know is how those tankless water heaters are working out?

I've been told that they take forever to heat water for areas farthest from the heater but I'm not sure if they had the same type.

Actually they do have a quick heat button in the master bath sink. The way it was explained to me
at the walkthrough was pressing that button first thing in the morning pumps out all the water
from the pipes back into the system. So then if you open the hotwater you directly start getting
it very quickly.

It's definitely something new for us.  The water doesn't take that long to heat up.  At the furthest point there is a botton to push to heat up first then turn on the water so it's not just using running water to get it heat up.

Montecito offers this.  I believe Sonoma and Carmel also offer this.

Doesn't most, if not all of the 2010 collection offer tankless water heater?

They have the tankless water heater.  Not sure if they all have the hot water recirculation so you don't have to wait for the hot water on the faucets that are far away from the water heater.

They don't offer this at Coronado... boo... my development is too lowly!  The water does take awhile to heat up....

What?  really?  I was looking to buy Coronado and remember tankless water heater is part of it.  Did they change it?

I believe they offer tankless water heaters, but they don't offer the button.

I was at Sonoma today and asked the sales lady and she had no clue.  I also did not see any "button" in the model homes.

Maybe this is specific to Montecito???

They did not install the buttons at the models at Montecito or Sonoma, but they do come in the completed homes.  However, they ARE installed at the Monterey @ Crampbury East models.
