California Lost the Population of Wyoming

The state's population dropped by more than 500,000 people

Gov. Newsom’s presidential plans are almost as baffling as Pete Buttigieg’s. Buttigieg oversaw a miserable hellhole of a city and everyone is fleeing California. The state lost more people than some states have people.

Newsom seems to spend all of his time on Twitter taking shots at Florida and DeSantis as if California’s problems are an image issue that can be fixed with some social media trolling.

The California exodus has shown no sign of slowing down as the state’s population dropped by more than 500,000 people between April 2020 and July 2022, with the number of residents leaving surpassing those moving in by nearly 700,000. The population decrease was second only to New York, which lost about 15,000 more people than California, census data show.

Behold the glorious blue model in action.

Gov. Newsom spends all of his time blaming someone else, Trump, local officials, national officials, or global warming. Meanwhile, the state’s one-party majority pursues nonstop wokeness while prioritizing the destroyers of the state’s quality of life, criminals, junkies, and vagrants, over the middle class.

California will now offer prison inmates Medicaid. The only thing it offers the middle class is a boot on its neck.

Tesla know what's up:

California has been critical to Tesla’s success over the last 20 years. The state has helped Tesla in its time of need, and its strong climate initiatives and EV incentives have made it the biggest market for electric vehicles in the US and, therefore, Tesla’s biggest market.

DECLINE!! (Not DM)

California’s population continues to shrink, according to United States Census Bureau data.

For the third straight year, people left California, according to government estimates. Since the decline began in 2020, the state’s population has shrunk by about 500,000 people. For reference, the population of Wyoming is a bit more than 580,000.

In new data published by the Census Bureau this week, it’s estimated that California’s population shrunk by approximately 113,649 people from July 2021 to July 2022.

There was a net gain across the state in “Natural Change,” the number of births (420,000) and deaths (318,000) during that time frame. But a net loss of more than 217,000 people was recorded as people left the state to move elsewhere.

More than half of California’s 58 counties lost population during that timeframe.

Many of the counties seeing a reduction in population are in Southern California and the Bay Area; two regions in the state that experience some of the highest costs of living in the country.

Seems like the decline is mostly due to high cost of living and Covid deaths (j/k that was for our resident medical expert)).

Really doesn't matter who the governor is, Cali is going to have a premium.

Seems snowflakey to me... budget is going to budget.

Not so, Joe, ask anybody who’s recently left, and I know many. All those tax dollars are running out the door because of high taxes, high cost of living, crappy business environment, and crime and a loony political environment. The chief executive has everything to do with those issues.

The majority of those leaving are the ones that can easily afford to stay, they are leaving because they can. The only ones left are a few of us givers and all the rest are just takers.

I’m not alone on this…cost of living (housing, taxes, food, fuel, insurance…) feeds into every bad reason to stay including crime and opportunity.

Yesterday I went to LAX for a pickup @ 3pm.
Traffic....
I don't mind if my house goes down in value. Please make more people leave.

Then we can have a state of rich people and the slaves that service them...which is already happening.
