Can I ignore myself?????????????

That would be great. I can post but not have to read my own brilliant observations.

There must be some merit to that.

My wife would often like an ignore button for me.

Just kidding!!

Enjoy

My wife is on this for epilepsy (luckily it has been more than 8 years since her last occurence). It works great as a mood stabilizer as well as some light forms of *ahem* schizophrenia....

Wow, I haven't checked out the site or the forums in a little while and look at all the craziness that Truthi has brought from Lansner's blog. She wasn't happy when I outed her under her "provider" moniker, but at least she admitted to it. There was a period of about 3 days where she actually was being polite and engaged in debate. Guess it was wishful thinking.

Does Truthi = Thoughtful? Haven't seen ol' Thoughtful around in forever and I'm having a hard time keeping track of all the split-personality names.

I think that some of the names posted under her were:

Truthiness (not the current person using that screen name, who is a bear)

Thoughtful

Provider

And if I am not mistaken there were at least a couple others that I don't remember off the top of my head. The reason why I remembered the ones I did was because she had very distinct diction and used the same arguments and insults. And would never answer any questions I asked ("can you provide data that supports this particular claim?", etc.). That and the fact that this poster would literally contribute 25 - 40% of the postings under a blog entry in certain instances.

Yeahsure. I posted nothing but facts - which is precisely why you hate!

I posted facts on interest rates. Facts on Option ARM terms. Facts on bank portfolio loans. Facts on where sales were happening. Facts on prices per square foot by neighborhood. Facts on historical price versus rent ratios. Facts on current price to rent ratios. Facts on a hundred other topics.

That is why y'all are so desperate to shut me up for chissakes! Even not buying it gave me great reviews on my arguments!

And "I" used insults? Yowza! Now THAT is funny. Thanks for the entertainment. Good stuff.

And now she appears to use the name Helen Highwater. Same BS, diction, arguments, and insults, but I'm sure she'll deny it.

Maybe she's got Dissociative Identity Disorder (used to be called Multiple Personality Disorder). It might explain the wide variety of names. Sometimes these people are misdiagnosed (or maybe not) with schizophrenia or another psychotic disorder and, many times, with a personality disorder such as Borderline. That last one really fits in her case.

Like purchasing a brand new home!

Wow, y'all are so smart!

I'm pretty sure Helen is seeking alfalfa myself. I don't recall either of them ever insulting anyone. On the other hand, I see plenty of insults directed AT him/her, just as they are directed AT me.

Note: there are more than two people on the planet who are articulate. I know it's hard to grasp, but there are. I have several within my own family.

The posts I've seen here are completely shocking. It's unreal that so many of you have so little integrity and self-respect. It's comical, really. That's your burden. You will probably never see yourself for what you really are.

What is schizophrenia?

Schizophrenia is a chronic, severe, and disabling brain disorder that has been recognized throughout recorded history. It affects about 1 percent of Americans.1

People with schizophrenia may hear voices other people don't hear or they may believe that others are reading their minds, controlling their thoughts, or plotting to harm them. These experiences are terrifying and can cause fearfulness, withdrawal, or extreme agitation. People with schizophrenia may not make sense when they talk, may sit for hours without moving or talking much, or may seem perfectly fine until they talk about what they are really thinking. Because many people with schizophrenia have difficulty holding a job or caring for themselves, the burden on their families and society is significant as well.

Alright,

So I guess I cannot resist replying. Being away on business, not watching TV, and having limited options to pass the time leave me to do this:

To clarify, I think as the provider name you did contribute some links to various information. But for the other names, it was extremely rare.

Nobody is here to shut you up. Merely trying to express their own opinions or try to help you. Here at the IHB, you will find people a lot more level headed and congenial than random posters on Lansner's blog.

As far as addressing the insult factor:

Stop spamming us with useless garbage. Dream together with all your bearfriends that all the bogus data is real. Yes, there are ?six million vacant homes? and there are ?no 10 year option arms? and ?Deutschse Bank does quality analyses? and ?the last time the median broke a hal mil was 1993?.

I wrote this song for you:

Go to sleep, little girl, go to sleep until morning.

When you wake, you will own, any house you desire.

Make up facts, lots of facts, any old crap will do,

You are strong, oh so strong, you?re an uber-strong buyer.

Once more, with feeling?..

Graphrix knows very well that I am not seeking, or calm down, or Alfalfa, or any other person the lying biatch has claimed.

Alfalfa, can you believe this lying biatch? I?m blown away.

I already explained why I changed my handle (a while back) - because my personal security is extremely jeorpardized from freaks just like you. I have one handle here and will not change it.

When Lansner proves Melody wrong, and he will, we won?t have to suffer ?Bill? anymore either. Two birdbrains, one stone.

Well done, ko. You found an example of my reaction to the extreme bile that comes at me from both Bill and Melody. Interesting that your post only has the answer and not the original comments. I would expect nothing more.

Thanks for the reminder of just a tiny portion of the many things I brought to the blog, like disproving the "six million vacant homes" falacy as well as proving beyond a shadow of a doubt that there are many TEN year option arms despite all the ignorant comments to the contrary. And who can forget, my total refutation of the "analysis" of Deutsche Bank who were so stupid, they could not figure out that the REOs that were "missing" had been sold in the past year? I personally loved that one most of all. So, it seems you are not correct about my not having facts.

The problem with people like you is you are not open to anything that contradicts your preconcieved notions (desires). I understand why, I just think it's a problem.

Here's another thing to chew on:

Today's claim that there are an unlimited number of HELOC abusers in Irvine is not supported by facts. There are (being conservative) 100,000 homes in Irvine. If you posted an anecdote every single day of the year, you would have documented a mere 4/10ths of 1% of all the homes in Irvine.

So, just ignore each time a resident here sells their home within 5 days, ignore that inventory has absolutely plummeted this year and ignore that pricing has been stable for many months. That will serve you better than anything I could ever say.

http://www.wrongdiagnosis.com/sym/delusions.htm

TopIntroduction: DelusionsChronic cases of hallucinations and delusions typify chronic psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia and other delusional disorders. Delusions differ from hallucinations in that delusions refer to the mind's reasoning and thoughts, rather than its sensory inputs. For example, "delusions of grandeur" are typical in schizophrenia, where a patient may well truly believe that they are actually the leader of a country, or a reincarnation of someone important.

It is important to be precise about this symptom, and to dinstinguish true delusions from other symptoms such as paranoia, anxiety, fear, and other emotional states. Also, people have varying belief systems, and it's not always clear at what point a belief is valid, and at what point it becomes a "delusion".

Truthi/Provider/Tired, whoever she is, is definitely a whack job for the most part, but she is right on with that statement. Many houses have sold fast if priced right, inventory has indeed plummeted, and pricing has been flat in Irvine for six months. Those tidbits do seem to get ignored for the most part.

I guess that is the herd mentality at work though. When the bubble was still blowing up, we ignored all/any downside indicators. Now that it is deflating, we only have eyes for that deflation and gloss over any/all upside indicators...
