Loving not having to be anywhere. Summer, how I've missed you!

Went to a water fountain play area today. My boys splish-splashed around the water jets for a couple hours. Thanks to all the shaded seating, I was able to stay longer than normal. (I'm still on the lookout for SPF 1,000 for my ghostly self.) Ate some Hawaiian snacks and went home. It's a nice day out. What a great life I have!

The Hawaiian place here is called Da Laua. It's the sister shop to the Irvine location at Jeffrey and Trabuco. It's the only place I know of that serves Spam musubi. Love, love, love Foothill Ranch. We have everything you can think of here! :)

Sounds great...where is this water fountain place?

To add to the summer plan ideas:

On Friday night we did "Glow Bounce" at Pump It Up. They used black lights and lighting effects. All the kids got glow necklaces. For working parents, this is great because it's on Friday nights from 7:30 - 9:00 p.m.

I'll go ahead and put the links to the event calendars for the two PIU locations for this summer. Everyone should take their kid at least once this summer! They also have another theme called Mid-Day Bounce where they hand out a frozen treat at the end. I've also seen a pajama theme during other times of the year.

He wasn't a huge fan of the big slides, but he liked the big round jumpy thing with the bouncy pad in the center. He ran around that thing for a long time, bouncing/falling/getting up again.
