What AZD is saying is only possible because banks stopped trying to collect deficiency judgments in out years - past the default, where folks are back on their feet again. They used to do it, and people did what they could to make sure they didn't default. You?d get a note one day from the bank that your account had been levied, and your new property had a lien attached.
I wonder why the banks quit? Must of been too expensive.
