So when's the next IHB gathering?

I think it's been way too long since we had the last IHB gathering, we should get together one of these days. I need to meet IHO and discuss garages and show him pictures of my dad's 3-car garage, GITOC owes me pudding, and it'd be nice to meet some of the folks I haven't met yet.

Ha....my 5 year old loves BJ's too. I have just as much fun going there with the family as I do hanging out in the bar area with dudes. Perfect resturant concept for the demographics of the area. BK probably told them to move into that corner of the Marketplace, along with Opah and Wasa.

BJ is the only original inhabitant of that corner still around: I miss BD Mongolian BBQ (specifically their "Mongol Pie"), I don't miss SensAsian. I hope BK did not advise Martin Yan to open there.

That restaurant pad is cursed. Especially Yan's franchise. No ones like Chinese Cuisine at White folks prices. Paul Fleming Changs is not Chinese just in case people like to pick on technicality.

Awesome! Totally off-topic tangent story this reminded me of. When one of my younger cousins was about 3-4 he shouted "Thunder Thunder Thundercats! ROAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRR!" during Mass when the priest raised his hands while blessing the Communion wafers/wine. It was hilarious - but only for us other kids and parents who knew what Thundercats were. Others thought he was possessed I'm sure. Now my cousin is a newly minted lawyer. I need to remind him of this the next time I see him.

Should we meet up for game 1 or game 2? We should start a pool... at what minute mark will Bynum have 4 fouls in the first quarter by, and how many will be because he fouled Dwight Howard? What should the over/under be on Gasol having a free throw percentage over 60%? Say everyone has to take a drink every time Bynum fouls someone and every time Gasol misses a free throw. Man... we will be f*cked up by half time. No matter what... if Vic shows up he is buying, and if the 14 year old girl and greatest Hannah Montana fan, formally known as Skek, shows up, then he is buying. Vic... get the Skekker to show up and you get off scott free!
 
I'd be in for a Game 2. Game 1 is out for me, gotta be in downtown LA for an 8:30am meeting next Friday. Early wake up call...Argh...

Ugh, I wouldn't be squatting in the square. I'd be cooking BBQ chicken on the other side of the square.

We can schedule an informal meeting for the weekend of June 13/14. I just received an email from AZDavidPhx, and he is going to be visiting our area that weekend. I plan to meet up with him for a drink. If anyone else is interested, details will be shared here.

Let's do it IR, I'd enjoy meeting AZDavid. Maybe I can convince him to start posting on the forums. Let's make it the 14th so we can watch the Lakers game (it'll be around 5:30pm).
