I don't know why people would pay so much for a cookie.

because we have wives that dont bake!!!!!!!!!!!

Impossible! You're saying it's NOT part of the "job interview"? I heard that "the best way to a man's heart is through his stomach" so I often used to bake Mr. SoCal a batch of cookies when we were dating and drive them down to him.  :)

"Wifes don't bake" is the key word here.  Even you looks like go out for cookies now per your post. >:D

I guess I got lucky.  My wife lets me  scour through cookbooks and websites every week and I  can  pick  whatever meals I want and she will cook them, including soup / appetizer / dessert / etc.

I don't have a wife.  :)
That is a good retort. :-[

So, the conclusion is - GF to cook and capture mans heart to become their wives
Men to keep your wives, have them eat out

my first criteria is the 80% rule (of my earnings) and typically if they can hit that they are not going to be good cooks or they are not going to want to cook (takeout).

I'm assuming for qwercookie the best way to his heart is bit lower.

I'm in the camp that if the wife works, she doesn't have to cook.

Does aquabliss' wife work full time?

If your name is Cash Warren, we can probably work something out...

This happen quite often when you upgrade Girlfriend 3.0 to Wife 1.0 and the cooking app suddenly disappeared or just stop working completely.

The Vons off of Los Alisos and 241 near SGIP is converting to a Haggen also. It's supposed to be a bit Whole Foods/Trader Joes/traditional store set up. We'll see.

This conversion is good news.  Could use a WF/TJ-like grocery store this side of town.  But last time I was promised a WF-like anything (that lame Korean market in Woodbridge), it fizzled so yup, we'll see....

Even though I am totally opposed to expensive cookies, we tried Cookie Connection today because we were in the area and my son wanted a cookie. The cookies looked like nothing special to me, but he said it was the BEST SUGAR COOKIE HE'S HAD IN HIS WHOLE LIFE. He also tried a snickerdoodle because he got a second cookie free and it was the BEST SNICKERDOODLE HE'S HAD IN HIS WHOLE LIFE. So there's that. Rave reviews from the little kid demographic.

Does anybody know what is being built at Dimension+Prism next to Lake Forest Wildfire Gym?  I thought I read somewhere they were building a Montessori school but there is already one very nearby.
