It did. Per reports, their lease expired in 2020 and they’ve been month-to-month since. A new tenant (Mikyia Wagyu Shabu House per Reddit) has been signed. Probably a similar situation to Albertsons - Chili’s refused to sign a new lease, so they were allowed to stay month-to-month until another tenant could be found.

Hah... crossed wires... the one on Irvine Center Drive is still there as far as I know. The one on Sand Canyon is also still there.
The only one that changed is the one in Crossroads off of Culver and Barranca.

Speaking of Crossroads, Chip (a cookie place) opened where Ha Long was. Expensive but might be better than Crumbl. Variety is still better at Dough and Arrow.

i'm willing to give it a try , but i really don't know about how the taste combine man.The daphnes by the target at the district closed up. Currry pizza will be opening up.

I tried an Indian fusion place yesterday called Maast Indian. It is like Taco Bell x Indian - crunchwraps, burritos, quesadillas made of paratha, and queso. My wife liked it quite a bit.
Interesting concept.

I used to go to them when they were in a ghost kitchen by the airport. They also do makhani mac n cheese which I've heard is good.

Based on the number of new restaurants that have been opening up... I'm thinking that Koreans are tilting the Asian index in their favor.
I mean, there has always been a large Korean population in Irvine (just check out how many churches), but there are 5 Korean grocery stores (outnumbers the 99 Ranches) and so many KBBQ, Shabu (Korean style), Korean food and Korean-owned eateries... maybe that's why Panda is active again on TI.

Didn't realize they closed Mustard (sandwich place) in Oak Creek.
Totally surprised at what is replacing it... old school throwback froyo place... Golden Spoon.
