CNBC: Tax firm Mazars fires Trump Organization as client, says former president's financial statements are unreliable

The accounting firm Mazars has fired the Trump Organization as a client after saying that a decade's worth of statements of ex-President Donald Trump's financial condition "should no longer be relied upon," the New York Attorney General's office revealed in a court filing.

Mazars, which for years prepared Trump's income tax returns, informed the Trump Organization's top lawyer Alan Garten of that move and conclusion in a letter last Wednesday.

Mazars, which for years prepared Trump's income tax returns and financial statements used to obtain loans for his company, told the Trump Organization's top lawyer Alan Garten that it would no longer represent the company due to the lack of reliability of the financial statements in a letter last Wednesday.

The firm told Garten that its conclusion was based on filings made by the AG's office, "our own investigation," and other information from different parties.

"While we have not concluded that the various financial statements, as a whole, contain material discrepancies, based on the totality of the circumstances, we believe our advice to no longer rely upon those financial statements is appropriate," Mazars said in its letter to Garten.

Mazars also said in its letter that it would no longer "provide any new work product to the Trump Organization."

The firm said it based on its decision about the past work's reliability, "as well as the totality of circumstances, we have also reached the point such that there is a non-waivable conflict of interest with the Trump Organization."

Why did the accounting firm wait so long to make this disclosure? (they did not know about this before?)

Indictments on the way!..Paybacks a Hillary... ;D ;D >:D

Worse than Watergate: What did Hillary Clinton and her campaign know, and when?

As if it wasn?t enough that the Hillary Clinton campaign funded and distributed a fictitious Kremlin-sourced dossier meant to erase former President Donald Trump, we now learn her operatives were surveilling and collecting the former president?s email traffic at his New York home, business and White House.

And there is even a deeper subplot that has to do with misleading U.S. intelligence. But at this early stage in the Clinton campaign spying scandal, we still don?t know the answer: What did they know and when did they know it?

Michael A. Sussmann is the Clinton lawyer who curated the mass of Domain Name System internet spreadsheets and brought them to the press and FBI while billing the campaign. He oversaw an operation to prove that Mr. Trump had a secret cyber connection to Alfa Bank, the Russian oligarch-owned commercial lender. Candidate Clinton and current Biden National Security Adviser Jake Sullivan tweeted Mr. Sussmann?s findings as proof.

I knew Trump's infamous tweet that Trump Tower had been wiretapped would be vindicated eventually.  Remember all the pearl clutching after that one?

Clinton is toast.  Obama and Biden are next up.

Fatality?singular, and an unarmed Trump supporter. Not a real threat to democracy.

Do you just ignore whatever you want? She wasn't the only one.

And I don't think you were referring to singular examples when you brought up the word "fatal"... a real threat to democracy is a losing president who doesn't abide by it. Even his VP said so.

Do you mean keeping alleged classified emails or documents? The new meta is flushing documents now. Also, the new thing is using the cell phones of aides. So the conversations would not be logged or monitored. (I assume. Which was allegedly reported in da news) hehe

Must have missed that?who else died that day in the battle for the capital?

Nervous laughter in an attempt to distract from the obvious? it?s a classic Kamala ploy?.

Chuck Todd asks Sec. Blinken why Putin didn?t escalate when Trump was in charge

In referring to the Trump administration, Todd asked Blinken, ?Why do you think [Putin] didn?t act then??

?I hope you get a chance to ask him,? Blinken responded with a clipped laugh before stuttering to a fuller response.

This deflection is not an isolated incident as the nation?s top diplomat has been making appearances to say little of substance while suggesting only Putin can explain what is going on in Eastern Europe.

...cause nothing ever sticks to this guy...no one really cares about that anymore and when the Repubs retake the house the whole committee will just.... disappear...

Another 'Walls Are Closing on Trump' Story Has Collapsed

t's over. Done. How many of these stories do we have to endure from the liberal media before they understand that Donald Trump is not going to be indicted on anything. The ?walls are closing in? stories are too many, but each one has the same ending: Trump wins. The walls were closing in when creepy porn lawyer Michael Avenatti was using Stormy Daniels to wage lawfare on Trump. She got stuck with paying for Trump?s legal fees, around $300,000, and he is currently in jail for trying to extort Nike. The January 6 select committee is trying to indict Trump for rebellion to prevent him from ever running again. That?s failing miserably as there is no evidence of that ridiculous allegation. This committee is also going away next January when the GOP retakes the House in the 2022 midterms. The Russian collusion circus was a myth. Democrats impeached him twice. Trump is in the hall of fame of just owning liberal America?and he lives rent-free in their heads.

So, are we shocked that the Manhattan district attorney?s office has indefinitely suspended its investigation into Donald Trump and is no longer pursuing legal charges? Nope. Those of us who aren?t Trump deranged knew this was going to be the outcome. Give it time, Trump will always come out on top

Just because it doesn't stick, doesn't mean it's right.

You talk about stuff being "fatal to Democracy" (figure out those other fatailties yet?) but the Capitol Riot stuff is ridiculous.

Had this been the reverse, you would be creating threads and quoting Daily Mail left and right, but now because it's your guy, you've lost your backbone. Stand up for your country, not your party.

You really don't see this the way I do.  Look at that clip from The Sting....it sums what I think of all this politics nicely...everyone in that room is a crook and a liar but we choose who to root for and pick "good guys" and "bad guys"....THEY ALL ARE BAD!!!.  Trump is no different...he is a crook amongst crooks...I don't see any real "good guys" in politics.  To me it is a lot of theater so it is tantamount to entertainment on that level.  Trump makes me laugh....driving the other crooks crazy.

There's the shoplifter at Target.
The people running the scoop and squat accident scams.
The Elizabeth Holmes peddling her scam.
The doctors commiting medicare fraud
and then there is John Wayne Gacy.

Technically, they're all criminals.

And it's a strawman fallacy based on false equivalence.

Typical double-speak response.

You're going on and on about Biden's slips to prove what an inept president he is yet Trump knowingly subverted official communication devices to help fuel an insurrection at the US capitol that ended up killing more than just one person.

Mistakes because of age or whatever is one thing... knowledgeable misconduct is another.

I hope there was some error in the diary logs though, because that is a black eye on the US presidency as bad or worse than others.
