Gotta ask yourself why anyone should vote for a party that wants to eliminate the Electoral College, that wants to ban photo ID's to vote, that fights States who are purging felons and non-citizens from voting lists, and wants 50 state ballot harvesting. It's as if they can't win without some form of cheating.

The Electoral College keeps small states in contention for votes rather than the socialist states of California and New York dominating candidates attention the Presidential race. I know that truth may hurt some people in their feels, but those folks need to grow up.

NY senator likens Trump event at Madison Square Garden to Nazi rally: 'Disastrous'

NEW YORK CITY (TNND) — New York state Sen. Brad Hoylman-Sigal, D-District 27, on Wednesday decried an upcoming campaign event for former President Donald Trump at Madison Square Garden, likening it to a Nazi rally.

The senator wrote via X he confirmed the famous New York City venue, which is in his district, will host a Trump rally on Oct. 27. Such a decision, he argued, would prove “disastrous” for the city.

Let’s be clear,” he wrote. “Allowing Trump to hold an event at MSG is equivalent to the infamous Nazis rally at Madison Square Garden on February 20, 1939.”

The senator's remark appears to reference a 1939 rally organized by pro-Nazi organizationGerman American Bund. The event drew more than 20,000 attendees at Madison Square Garden.

“This is a disastrous decision by Madison Square Garden that will endanger the public safety of New Yorkers and has the potential to incite widespread violence,” he added. “For the good of NYC and its residents, I demand @TheGardenkeep our city safe by cancelling the Trump rally.”

Backing the senator was Columbia University professor Tom Watson.
