Kamala Harris failed to secure the endorsement of the International Brotherhood of Teamsters, a union representing 300,000 of these first responders who quickly endorsed Joe Biden in his 2020 bid. Almost 60 percent of its members are voting for Donald Trump. She also could not clinch the endorsement of the International Association of Fire Fighters, a union representing 300,000 of these first responders.

The latter was a move that blindsided her campaign, demonstrated by the rally location, a firehouse, which her campaign chose in anticipation of the IAFF’s blessing. It never came. Last year, when the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) initially issued its "final" nationwide crime data for 2022, the bureau reported that the country's violent crime rate decreased by 2.1 percent. However, a year later, the FBI has "quietly revised" those numbers, according to a RealClearInvestigations report by crime watchdog Dr. John Lott, correcting the dataset to show that violent crime actually increased in 2022 by 4.5 percent. This means the FBI was way off — by 6.6 percentage points. These additions include thousands more murders, rapes, robberies, and aggravated assaults, Lott says.

After Democrats and journalists have spent the entire election cycle claiming that crime is down, the FBI three weeks before an election revises their crime statistics showing that crime increased by 4.5% in 2022 instead of dropping 2.1%.

How anyone can ignore what happened on Jan 6 is crazy. Even if Trump has the best policies in the world, the fact he supports and is supported by people who would do that is insane. Again, had it been Democrats who had done that morekaos would have made 20 threads by now.

If you can't objectively condemn Jan 6, you should not be allowed to vote.

So, following your logic, wouldn’t an increase in the corporate tax level also be passed directly onto consumers in the form of higher prices? And fuel inflation even more? Who wants to raise corporate tax levels by almost 100%? Hmmm… Let me think.

I use to buy $500,000 of parts from China.
After the 25% tariff Trump installed in 2018, my customer found a new supplier not in China, however, the part is now more expensive.

China is the cheapest and most reliable manufacturer in the world. Putting a 60% tariff on them will mean prices for made in China goods will be going up atleast 30% because moving it to a more expensive manufacturer not in China with only 10% tariff will still increase prices in USA.

Everytime I get hit with a tariff, I increase my price to my customer. They understand, and ask if I can move production to USA or Mexico. I tell them I'm not gonna invest in a new plant in USA or Mexico when we don't know what will happen with tariffs in the future. It's also 3X more expensive to make it in USA.

Personally I don't have production in China anymore since that 25% Tariff a few years back. The 60% tariff trump is threatening to put on China will make me richer and cause massive inflation.

Another interesting thing about tariffs is a company can apply for exemptions.
Say elon wants to sell his China made Tesla Y in USA. He can ask the US government for exemption from the 100% tariff.
I'm not sure if Trump can just give it to him, but I'm sure it would make it easier.
