Check out this WTF yard in Cypress Village in a motor court home:https://www.redfin.com/CA/Irvine/78-Bloomington-92620/home/58553005

How did they fit all this into 5,490 sq ft lot... !?  Must have a small footprint home or a nice wide angle lens.

extreme camera lens trickery. You can tell from some of the later photos that the backyard setback while decent is not as incredibly deep as the initial images suggest. This property backs to the corner of Roosevelt and Tulip. Four way stop sign intersection, major ingress/egress intersection for Cypress Village. Roosevelt is the only street that cuts through Cypress Village from Sand Canyon to Jeffrey . Look forward to hearing the squealing of brakes and roar of acceleration as people leave and enter.

Chill out...i doubt the sound is that bad.  Although I don't live next to any major streets, the sound doesn't seem too bad when I'm driving or walking around there.

I've noticed that you're such a hater of Cypress Village...always trying to throw in rude comments whenever you can.  What's your deal?

This one of very few Magnolia plan 3 with extra large yard.  Magnolia only require a little over 3000 s.f. lot so this home got an extra large 2000+ s.f. back yard.  And the wide angle lens also makes the backyard looks as large as those at PP's.

Yeah, I don't think the sound will be an issue.  Here in CV, only every other car stop at the stop sign.  :)

are you a homeowner in Cypress Village? why are you so touchy? Just pointing out the cons on a property that is listed in the "WTF price" thread after all! I'd do the same if it was a similar set up in any neighborhood.

don't be offended. I am an equal opportunity hater of all newer Irvine communities which are built like stacks of sardine cans, not just CV.  That goes for Eastwood, Stonegate, CVE, Laguna Altura, Parasol Park, etc. I think older neighborhoods are laid out better like Turtle Rock, before TIC got too stingy with the land. No offense to the other posters who are owners or are buying in those areas. Maybe you and other people don't prioritize large yards and privacy. I do. I'd rather have a larger yard and a smaller house, but they don't build them like that anymore. Its just my personal taste. Heck, as soon as the kids are done with school, I'm moving out of Irvine alltogether.  next stop is a place where I don't have to hear my neighbor's TV through my open bedroom window, or keep my blinds constantly drawn. half an acre in north tustin or villa park sounds pretty good right now.

I lived on the corner of a main entrance to Woodbury (4 way stop) for a couple years.  Would hear motorcycles and sports cars a couple times a day, but it doesn't bother you after some time.

One night around 3a, we saw a mustang doing donuts in the intersection for a few minutes.  That one was pretty annoying.

I have a feeling this one is going to sit for awhile...

nice upgrades but wayyy over comps.

Yup, specially considering that it's 3 levels.  Maybe the seller/listing agent thought 3-level condos sell for a premium to a 2-level condos?  They dropped their listing price by $20k in 9 days too.  haha

Since when did an "indoor laundry" become a marketable feature?

$566 / sq. ft in Cypress Village.  It's like mini Laguna Altura over there:https://www.redfin.com/CA/Irvine/129-Mountain-Violet-92620/home/109734617

Redfin says it's worth more. Lol

Man I wonder what it will go for

Do you think this house will also have similar fate like the one here
https://www.redfin.com/CA/Irvine/50-Trotter-92602/home/112729092

If not CV>>>OH

What the heck is wrong with the realtor.

No driveway either

Purchased in June 12th 2015 for $1.07M.  Seems like they listed early, don't they have to close after June 12th, 2017 to qualify for the $500k exemption?

What if they get an all cash 10 day close offer at full ask... They will close too soon and be liable for profit as ordinary income.

First world problems.

Not sure this is really a WTF listing but didn't want to create a new thread for it.

Just got a redfin notice for 55 Parson Brown in Lambert Ranch.  Thought it was a TNHC house but it's the Lambert home built in 1925.  On 1.6 acres.  $2.2M.  Wonder if you can do a tear down?
https://www.redfin.com/CA/Irvine/55-Parson-Brown-92618/home/101329364

Someone finally bought this place after a year and a half and multiple price drops.
