Newer Irvine listings with crazy WTF asking prices from equity sellers

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Could have spent $75K on the kitchen. It's got two built in refrigerators, beverage fridge and waterfall island especially if they paid the builder.

All kinds of stupid people over pay for stuff especially if they don't really know the market and have lots of funny money.

Normally they wouldn't get their money out of it but in this market someone else bail this bagholder out.

All that tile on the bathroom walls, flooring, landscaping all add up. $225K? I don't know but if they did pay that, they're probably happy to get out.

Their new primary residence is even more expensive and larger...I just think they have lots of money  :P

All that money and upgrades but they didn?t build the kitchen cabinets to the ceiling or trim out that gap.

That's the first thing my wife would do on our new home. Funny thing is that originally we were past stage 2 cutoff date, which included kitchen cabinets, and that was one of the pre-selected upgrade options for the home. So naturally, we accepted it. As it turned out, they moved the stage 2 cutoff date till later, and we ended up being able to do a full stage 2 upgrades.

IP probably have different standards for SFR vs Condo.  I think for Highland, Ravelo and Eastwood, ceiling cabinet is standard.

Perhaps for Ravello and Fresco, but not Highland. It may be because Highland isn't a true SFR.

Lago models don't have it either, but Como models do, so it's not OH and EW vs. PS either. But then again, I don't actually know if Como homes do either, just their models do have it.

Either way, I just know that, for sure, Bluffs, Highland and Lago don't have it as standard.

I know it?s personal preference but this seems like a miss. Especially when they tiled the secondary bath walls. The kitchen upgrades look like they were done after close? Or are these builder offerings?

It was put on "hold" status not cancelled. Some realtors do this as they are reviewing offers so that they don't get any more agents pestering them to see the home.

Some also do it for other reasons like the seller is changing their mind and they are trying to salvage the listing haha.

so what happened to the listing? why is it no longer listed?

What?s crazy is my parents signed the psa and put a deposit for 151 Ingram when it was new construction. They backed out by the 3rd day saying it would make expenses too tight. Sad to say a missed opportunity?
