Long Beach general thread

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
If you can handle the weekend invasion this place looks OK. I think it sort of compares to the properties across from Mothers Beach. I just don't like the weekend crowd aspect

The views on that one appear to be blocked by the neighbor. The Wendy Lane house directly overlooks the water, which has to command a premium.

A few more price drops and a fresh coat of neutral paint inside and this unemployed home may find itself a new owner.

This one had to hurt. Paid too much, dumped a bunch into the remodel and selling for a quick loss...smooth move ex-lax.

The funniest part is this chump paid over $1000 a square foot AND dumped in the remodel costs. Ahh, the good old days of delusional 2006.

Well well, It looks like University Park is back in 2007 mode. Nice price hike Realtard.

No bites for 22 days, selling season coming to a close, tax credits may not get extended....raise the price. That ought to start a bidding war. Brilliant!

Now here is a winning strategy albeit timid in its incriments it will eventually get the job done..

From what I have heard this is much more about Poly than Wilson. Yeah it happended after a Wilson game but they were playing Poly and most guess it is likely the Poly element that is what is in play here. I guess they aren't going to stop playing Poly anytime soon though. It is a shame. Wilson is a good school and is safe. This is an anomoly which is why it's big news in LB but it surely makes it hard to shed the already less than ideal image after this.

Very sad for this family.

Well, these two homes (I know, they are not exactly alike but are within a mile of each other) seem to be moving in the opposite directions.

You think they waved as they passed by each other?

This house on Ultimo is back... can someone tell why it was just sold for $565? Auction? REO?

<a href="http://www.redfin.com/CA/Long-Beach/735-Ultimo-Ave-90804/home/7590930"><img src="http://media.cdn-redfin.com/photo/46/bigphoto/055/P710055_0.jpg" alt="" /></a>

Anyways.. a little close to PCH... but a good location...

BTW, your Club House is right across the street, you don't have to make reservations to use it; just like our IAC leasing office they have good coffee, cookies and a outdoor patio for large get-togethers too!! ^_^

Either that house is staged or these folks moved in and went under. I am not sure. It was empty a few months ago

Just imagine the number of drunks puking in your rose bushes at 3 o'clock in the morning after having a Grand Slam breakfast.

Still too much for a rental property (which is what a duplex is by default, unless you plan on living in one unit and renting out the other), although it's now close to the autocomps. Assuming the numbers in the listing are accurate (why does the unit that's twice the size only rent for $400 more?), it only brings in $5k a month, for a GRM of 255.

This is the first I have ever read for a listing in Belmont Shores...

Great... global warming, here we come...! Sometimes during high tides, the water is maybe less than 10 feet from the top of the breakers... if you look down Bayshore crossing the bridge from Naples going to the Shore on 2nd street... case in point see below...
