it is ok. it is basically a upper middle class suburb. People like it for the backyard. though if that is what I was going for I would choose Belmont Park. you get everything rossmoor has and nicer houses, more character, and walkable to 2nd street. If I like the seclusion of rossmoor and didnt care about walking to stuff I would choose Park Estates or El Dorado Park depending on my price range. Park Estates is like living in an old money east coast suburb. very nice. El dorado has the benefit of being close to the park and all those amenities.</blockquote>
Rossmoor is really nice - single level ranch homes on big lots with a school in the middle. Super homogenous but not snobby. Plus you're 5 minutes from the surf in Huntington. Incredibly convenient location and the Rossmoor PD make sure everything stays Mayberry-ish.
