Housewives of Orange County

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program

There should still be some effect.

A little bummed that Jo is no longer there. She was by far the hottest one on the show (very annoying though). All the other women on there are made up of a combination of silicon, collagen, and botox.

Something to look forward to for next season.

How much do these people get paid for exposing their lives on National TV?

I really hope it is worth it..

I'm sure back there in there minds, there's possibility of a new career in hollywood, a book deal, a movie deal, or some other gig besides what they are doing now. I'm sure they are getting paid decent enough to help them spend even more $$.

BUMP!

Hey, who's watching Real Housewives? I have the first episode saved on the computer (because I recorded it from TV). It is awful---ly great!

It was a great first episode, and looks like it will be a strong season. Nice to see that much capital being redistributed! Save some for me!

These people are so full of it. One mother said she bought the townhome for her daughter. But her daughter is making the mortgage payments. Another mother makes it seem she bought her daughter the Mercedes. Then says that the daughter is responsible to make the monthly payments. Why not just say that you helped out with the down payments in both cases. Rather than saying you "bought" the home/car for your kids.

I don't remember all their names. But there's one old guy whom married the young Thai girl. He struts his @ss around the BMW dealership with his daughter. Asking her whichever car you want, I'll lease it for you. Making us believe he's so rich.

Then he dies leaving his 2 daughters with nothing. Geez.

I saw the show the other night and I've been curious about one thing. Lauri said that her fiancé has a 100 acre ranch. Are there really properties that big in Orange County? How much would something like that be worth?

I like the points that "the reas" is making about the parents "buying" their kids the cars, when really they're just signing up the kid for a lease. Talk about instilling bad values! But you start to see that where maybe leasing was a dirty secret before, now it's the perfectly acceptable norm. Maybe social acceptance around debt is acting as its biggest enabler.

Okay I'll admit watching this show is a dirty little secret of mine. Since day one, this show has disgusted me so much that I can not stop watching. lol. Unbelievable. ;-)
