I was right about to drop off my $3M cash payment for my HC McMansion but all this TI negative talk has changed my mind. I will stay put and suffer at The Strand for now. I just hate waking up every morning to the sound of crashing waves and sea birds. I thought HC would be paradise! 

Marutaro, thanks for the comment. You are right, and I deleted my message - I guess it was a waste of my time to write it in the first place. There is just no point. I hope you enjoy your HC home, if you bought one.

I was there this week and the sales lady told me they would release the next phase this Sat. Don't understand why people here assume everything based on one piece of information and it seems if someone provides any information about HD or any positive comments about HD, people here tend to pinpoint that someone as a TB's employee. Now, I can not stop thinking there might be lots of insiders from other builders such as the new home company who is the direct competitor.

Folks, this is a message board and not the Bible. Take everything you read with a grain of salt and make a decision based on gathering facts from all sources. Ultimately, what is important to one buyer is drastically different from another. If someone can afford and wants to pay 5 million to buy in HC, congrats. The person is not stupid. He/she just have more money than me.

More insider info: Marbella phase 3b (the rest of Shady Arbor) will be released next Saturday the 25th. These are the larger view lots at the end of the cul-de-sac (with 4 car garage and casita options), and will be going up to $3.1mil.

I was just referring to the fact that anybody can grab the information from HD sales office as it is open to public now. Posting the information at 9:33am doesn't mean that she or he must be an TB employee.

From my experience I much prefer dealing with the sales at TNHC than HC.  Malia is such a sweet lady and very pleasant to talk to.  Hc sales team is not as pleasant to work with and Communication is as bad as it gets.

But let's focus on homes not sales folks.  You should be able to buy whatever the hell you like in Irvine without being criticized in a public form.  Guys can't we all just get along?
