You have a broker working with you?  Or any contacts with media?  attorney?  Someone calling on behalf of you will make it seem more legit than you calling which will seem like a tantrum/bitchfest.  Remember it was the sales managers mistake, not yours, she just cares about her bottomline and how her numbers will look to her superiors.  I would still ask for her boss's contact and don't let her brush you off again with this Monday "meeting" crap.  You want to talk to the people that can make it happen, and don't waste time on anything else.
 
I escalated to Dan Young (president or something) via email. He setup his VP and Dir of Sales for a telephonic discussion. They apologized and provided me some options. They assigned a different manager and she went a long way with their customer service. I chose a few options that I liked and that reduced the increase to 3K (instead of 8K).

My wife was in so much love with the house that we ended up overlooking this issue. With wife liking it so much, I dont think I had any option anyways.

So, yes, we did book the home.
 
well at least there was some compromise.  Those sales people lack a lot of customer service skill.
 
Glad it worked out, so what happened to the arrogant IP manager?  Is she still at Saratoga?  What was her reaction when you emailed Dan Young?
