Ten, I'm disappointed to learn that you have even heard of such a state, much less know the details.

It might be time for you to sit, have a spot of tea, and recompose yourself.

Maybe we could add a metric that penalized for too many posts in too short a time, or rewarded lengthy posts that weren't just walls of text with no punctuation. I mean, if we are bothering with ranks on the internet then I don't want to be outranked by people with diarhea of the fingertips and a disdain for punctuation. :coolmad:

i think the upgrade is a step in the right direction although its not perfect i can see potential in this new system for a lot more scalability in the future we have to trust that zovallirvinerentergraphix know what theyre doing and they wouldnt have made the changes unless they were absolutely necessary people are often fearful of change because the innate nature of human nature is becoming accustomed to the things we are used to and customary practice so when theres change its against our nature but still what makes mankind so special is the ability to grow to learn to embrace change and the pursuit of knowledge it is the curse of mankind because woman made us so curious and we were hungry but nevertheless our greatest curse also happened to be God's most wonderful gift and He has a quirky sense of humor which is clearly evident when you look at the human feet i mean look at those things what is the deal with feet its these random lumpy things with five little stubbles at the end of it but its ok mankind has learned to accept the feet we are given and instead of bemoaning our ugly bottomed fate we have instead embraced it and used our feet to run marathons stomp grapes to create wonderful fragrant wines and drive automobiles which indeed is one of the most magnificent technological changes in the history of human mankindom so in the end lets thank zovallirvinerentergraphix for the wonderful community they have built.

I... I think... I think I love you :ahhh:

Is this kind of like pen & paper RPG's, where posts = XP and you gain levels with new titles?

i.e.

1-100 = Level 1, "Veteran"

101-200 = Level 2, "Warrior"

201-300 = Level 3, "Swordsman"

etc.

Eva & Nude,

The low power ranking/low post issue really brought me down.

Luckily, everything changed when I got home.

Threw on my 2 sizes to small, barely covering my shoulders Hollister T headed to the Yard House to see Kansas (My pick- See March Madness Thread) win it all.

Just like that, the Prince of Perfection, Earl of Entitlement was back on top of the mountain.

Glory once again!

[quote author="EvaLSeraphim" date=1207695983]Whew! All is right with the world again. :-)</blockquote>

Eva,

Mostly, but not quite.

Yesterday I asked for a royal crown to be presented; one that I could proudly display on my head in the event I should win the office pool.

Today, when I regally walked into the place, there was a Princess Tiara awaiting me.

Cowards!

[quote author="Nude" date=1207631348][quote author="tenmagnet" date=1207630298]How about something that would include quality of posts in the rankings. My post count and ranking is extremely low due to the fact that I'm unable to post in the evenings or on weekends.

I always strive to bring it and devote 110% toward my posts but feel that my ranking suffers due to the low quantity/high quality factor.</blockquote>
You can do what <a href="http://www.irvinehousingblog.com/forums/member/309/">reason</a> does and just split your one good post into 4 or 5 individual posts placed one after the other in the same thread...</blockquote>

Now you tell me! I have a lot of catching up to do.
