Not Irvine specific but I'm hoping people like Jerry Brown and Gavin Newsom are shown the door as well.  I don't know if their replacements are any better but there's always some "hope" with the new guys.  :P

Why?  What has Jerry Brown done to incur your wrath?  By almost all accounts, he has done very well.

Newsom is a LT. Governor, which is just as important as the Vice President.

I voted against Jerry Brown.  I still don't agree with some of the things he does but honestly.. he has stuck to his campaign promises.  It's really the voters of CA that get it wrong.  I can't blame it.  Jerry put most of his agenda to the voters and they vote for it.

Brown and Newsome have about as much chance of losing as does Sen. Jeff Sessions of Alabama. Sessions, by the way, is running unopposed.

@Yaliu - Your other wish came true Quirk-Silva the author of the bill lost.

Obama can be (and will be) blamed for the ISIS outbreak. I also wouldn't call it insignificant. EBOLA, on the other hand, didn't affect the vote.

It's pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things.  I don't know how he can be blame for ISIS...it's basically crazy things happening in a crazy part of the world.  I mean other than ISIS, you have a crazy dictator in Syria, Hamas doing crazy things in Palestine, Hezbollah is doing stuff all over the ME, Iran is crazy, and you still have Al Queda and a million other terrorists group.    I mean, has anyone blame Eisenhower for overthrowing the democratic elected government of Iran in 1953 and installing the shah as a puppet leader?

As for Ebola, it's not about that specific event, it's about pushing a negative image and people feeling that there is no control or failsafes.  Go look at the various GOP ads, it was terrorists are going to kill you right after you get Ebola.  It's basically a classic attack ad against the incumbent candidates (see Daisy ad).

ISIS broke out, 'cause Obama had pulled out the troops without close monitoring in the region. It's his foreign policy mistake. One of the mistakes... Also, if you add up all the populist promises he made, but has never accomplished, it's quite clear why the citizens got a little bit upset with him.
Just the campaign ads alone can't influence the votes much. Dems fail was predicted and expected a few months ago.

Hmm...you understand that Iraq refused to allow him to keep troops there right?  To keep troops in Iraq would be tantamount to an occupation.  It's also what the US agreed to do under the Bush administration.

As for the promises, pretty much nothing has happened since 2010 because Congress has stalled.  I mean, I'm not sure what people really expected from him.  Personally, I'm happy that Obamacare is around, the economy is doing much better, and no major terrorist attacks have happened.  I'm also glad for the focus on things like green jobs and industry.

Iraq refused? You ain't serious, are you? It's more like he used it as an excuse to pull out the troops.
Speaking of the failed promises. Well, got elected on his promises, he failed to deliver, but yet, he re-enforced all the failed promises in 2012. Why did he do it in 2012, if he knew he couldn't deliver? He had another plan to work with the Congress? Or did he lie?

Obamacare is a controversial socialistic concept. The only thing I see is a hit on my insurance premium and increased medical tax. Personally, I do not appreciate it.

These are the reasons:
President approval rating, Healthcare (Obama care), National Security, Secure Borders for US, Ebola, Secret Service debacle, VA Hospital debacle, etc..

Yes, Iraq refused.  Read the link.

As for Obamacare, every other industrialized nation has some sort of universal healthcare.  You may not appreciate it but it's much better for society as a whole.
