Just upgrade the secondary bathrooms. All the countertops matching looks much better. Not too mention like you said, your already spending a bunch if money, what's another 2,000.  I can guarantee you that if you don't upgrade the secondary bathrooms you are going to wish you did after you move in.

Did you do your laundry room as well?

You're right, Tyler. Thanks. As I am a few days away from my deadline, I start to second guess some of the things I have selected or not. This process can be quite stressful. Appreciate everyone's understanding and help.

Need some advice. I am getting tile through the builder and am doing 2 bathrooms and am trying to decide if I should just get the laundry room done as well. It will probably cost around $1,000. Should I just match it all and be done or leave it with the standard tile and move on? Thanks all!

Actually the standard vinyl flooring are very durable and easy to maintain.  You can always change to tiles years later when you are tire of it.  You can even  install tiles on top of the existing vinyl with out removing it (it add another layer of moisture protection).

However, since you are having a million dollar home, vinyl just look a little too cheap and a bit out of place.

Laundry room - I would get the cheapest nice looking tile, assuming if your standard is vinyl. Because spills of detergent/drop wet clothes transferring to the dryer.

Hmm great point. Do spills not go well on tile?

I was referring to multiple spills on vinyl is not good vs mutiple spills on tile.

I think $1000 isn't that much in the grand scheme of things for a hi end home.  I say get the laundry room like you want and be done with it.  JMHO.

Hi Eyephone,

Tile in all bathrooms, countertops in all bathrooms, framed mirrors in all bathrooms, insulation, ceiling fan wiring in all bedrooms, surround sound, kitchen back splash tiles, master bathroom shower and tub tiling, solid core doors, door handles... quite a bit. :I

If you are looking for more detail feel free to pm me and I can send you a detailed list.

How about you?
