It was similar... but I got it in the evening so not as "crispy".

I nuked it for a few seconds... was still pretty good.

The main thing is it's almost half the price.

i may have to try this one, that is the best price around for a cronut.

I actually stopped checking there because the first ones I had from there were really just dressed up croissants but we were at The District In&Out last weekend and the kids wanted gelato... and I went over to look out of curiosity and they had "proper" cronuts.

The local bakery they use, is Orange Bakery, and they are located in Irvine next to the airport (commercial bakery only so no direct sale to customers).

i dont know what their reaction is going to be, but my reaction if i ever did that would be to throw up. i dont even like cooked tripe.
 


Cronut sighting at Paris Baguette inside Zion market.  Not bad, around $3.  It's a decent bakery, we get our birthday cakes from here and never have leftovers.
