i never find that liquidation sales are that much of a bargain. liquidation are usually managed by an third party and previous sale prices, coupons, price-matching policies and other discounts get thrown out the door. for electronics purchases like tvs, cameras, computers, etc its not usual to find hot deals at 30-40% off somewhere then walk into a store with a printout and get a price match + 10%.
at linens and things, everything was 10% off during the liquidation, which was actually a price increase for me since i've always used their 20% coupons which was in the mail every other week or they accepted BBY's coupons.
