And they just advertise the burger but I think there are 2 burger options and 1 chicken sandwich option at the 10.99 price point.

You can get other entrees for $14.99 and even upgrade to a margarita, dessert etc for more money.

Need to find an affordable burger option in Irvine... using Carl's coupons/app or McDs app is bleh. In N Out still around $10 for a double double combo though.

Yep, 10.99 options are smasher burger (supposedly limited time), old timer, and chicken sandwich. Suggest asking for extra thousand island on the side to dip any of these in, as sometimes they are not generous with the sauce.

I tried all the other 3 for me items and none were too good or worth the extra cost vs. smasher burger.

Amazing to see a sit down meal at a price well below what a drive through meal costs today. Even though with tip it's fractionally more expensive, the comparative quality of the food outweighs the convenience factor.

I've had it... it's okay, not very big or flavorful for $11.

Recently had the one at Poached Kitchen, $17 but comes with fries. That burger was huge and messy... but $17 even with a side is crazy.

I want to try Hammer Burger in Santa Ana. Social media says For The Win is the best in LA.

Nexx burger in Orange on Chapman has a $3.75 double cheeseburger that’s pretty good, reminds me of an In N Out double double

I haven't been in a few years, but Paul Martin's at the Spectrum had the best cheeseburger hands down I've had anywhere. It used to be around $12, but I think so many people would order it compared to their otherwise less than memorable more expensive entrees, they raised the price every year to the point it's now $20+, and there's often a wait. So, not worth the hassle most of the time (hence why I haven't been back). But if you don't mind the wait, they make their own patties, everything is fresh, and overall it's the platonic ideal of a cheeseburger.

$20 for cheeseburger with shoestring fries on the side. Decent burger. But they tried to upsell me with $40 lunch special. >_>

Was there for lunch yesterday and the place was pretty empty.

Retail Therapy App has $10 off $50 Paul Martin for Lunch. Helps a little bit.

I've heard that Mario's Butcher Shop in Newport has the best SmashBurger. $7.50 for regular or $11.50 for double. One day a week they do it "Big Mac Style" I think Tuesday and it's supposed to be better this way.

I love the stand - I usually get the burger to go for around $12 and load it up with most of the free toppings, then stop by McDonalds and get the $1.49 large fries in the App + $1.49 large Coke. Still about a $15 to go combo all together but tastes great.

Side note, the NEXX Burger in Downey is down the street from on the last remaining Pioneer Chicken locations in LA.

Fried chicken and biscuits good. The price, not so good.

Have you got their onion rings? I like Stand's onion rings the most.

My favorite used to be the sweet potato fries, but they recently switched to a crisscut version that isn't as good. I also recommend downloading the app if you go often because then you get points for discounts/free items.
