<< That was uncalled for, and I will give you one warning only, and it will stop right here and right now. >>

Do not threaten me, sir. It's not nice. I, too, was being "snarky," although a < teasing > would have made that crystal clear. Yavol!

Do not threaten me, sir

Graphrix and Eva are extremely well respected on this blog and Graphrix is a moderator. You may want to choose your words more carefully until we "understand" your snarkiness.

I know CalPers is buying commodities.

Awgee, small world. Hubby's company actually owns 50 or 51% of the company that manages the International portfolio for CalPers. We've actually been able to visit them at their headquarters in Scotland. They treated us like royalty while we were there. Very memorable business trip.

That's right, Graphrix is the moderator, and I would think he would be more gracious to newcomers until he gets to know their snarky ways. In any event, scolding me as if I was a child is also "uncalled for."

Aw, Cal Gal, you're so sweet! I raised an eyebrow at it, contemplated a remark, figured it wasn't worth it, and went back to work.

SCG - You probably didn't mean for it to look like you were totally desperate for Graph to respond, but it read that way. It was kind of funny, actually.

Alright class, it's time for a review. There will be a quiz...

THE CORE RULES OF NETIQUETTE

SoCalGal - The culture of our blog enjoys snarky (which implies some level of humor) and we eschew personal attacks and mean-spiritedness. Relax, it is all good fun, just let us get to know you a little better. I think the only one here with as dry of a sense of humor may be awgee. But, I know him, and I know his snarkiness. Once I get to know you, and others get to know you, then you will not have any issues like this.

Now, for my own snarkitude...

No... I didn't find your sock, thank gawd. Is anyone going to Costco soon? If you are, will please pick up a package of socks for Nude please. Last time I was there, they had cashmere socks, and those would help keep him warm up there in the Pac NW. Make sure you get some cheap ones too, he doesn't always use plates or utensils when he eats pancakes.

Cashmere is itchy in all the wrong spots. Can I request plain white cotton instead?

For the record, I always have some form of plate when eating pancakes
