SoCal said:Went for a walk in my local park during the morning. Saw a muscular black guy dressed in fatigues like a drill sergeant ordering some adults to drop and give him 20. Followed by sit-ups. It must be some kind of a fitness boot camp. I give credit to those people for paying someone to kick their butts. I'm thinking of looking into it...

Okay, and maybe my frozen yogurt habit...

How about you guys?
SoCal- the chef is sleeping?

I remember that at places like LA Fitness and 24 hour, it was extra.

My night walks are usually time-based, about 40 minutes... so I don't know how long in miles they are... I think I counted steps once and it was something like 4000+ steps which is approximately 2 miles. Only problem is I haven't been doing them every night... so lazy watching American Idol.

Good job, CZ.
The chef never sleeps because for some odd reason, the people in my house want to eat every single day. The audacity!
I'm a lot happier being back to keeping track of calories. I have been running good 700 calorie daily deficits on average while still eating the things I like. The scale has not budged for me since last Friday when I weighed in. If anything, it is up. But this is where my love for calorie counting kicks in! If I was not keeping track, I would say to myself, "Ugh. What I'm doing isn't working! Might as well not try." However, since I keep track and have experience doing this before, my brain knows that not only is it scientifically impossible to have gained any fat but I am indeed losing and it will eventually show up on the scale. So, I pay more attention to my journal numbers than the scale's numbers. Keep going!
