I used to exclusively buy BMWs, and the Model 3 suspension is *not* as good as BMW's suspension. But it's certainly better than say, Lexus, Toyotas, Hondas, Fords and whatnot.

Are you referencing an M3 Performance or a regular Model 3?
oh, just a regular model 3. I didn't ever have an M BMW, so I was comparing it to the a regular BMW with sport suspension.

Eventually I just couldn't justify spending 50k+ on a BMW with a four banger engine that gets a 6+ second 0-60.

A Ferrari would make your head explode
Au contraire - I couldn’t get enough of a RACE car. IMO they will be the last profitable ICE mfr a decade from now. 911s just sound like super loud lawn mowers - nothing sexy about that sound. I do however love me some big block V8 rumble - my dream classic muscle car is a 1970 Firebird Formula 400. The best sounding car on the street however is a recent model GT-R - a screaming loud rumble.

M3 Performance is a totally different car, with a tuned chassis, lowered suspension, 20” P0s and Bembos. And Track Mode. Its absolutely insane.

Model 3 performance seems like a fun car to drive. Yes a little heavy and not going to last long on a track, but it seems fun to zip around (safely) on public roads. 510hp, 0 to 60 in 2.9 sec, for $55k (or $47.5k with the tax credit) + tax... LFG.

I drove in my friend's *new* Model 3 standard a few weeks ago. The iterations over the previous generation are noticeable. The seats are much nicer, the suspension is better, and the sound dampening is better. It's a really pleasant drive imho.

My current cars both do the things I need them to do, yet I continue to search for an excuse to buy another Tesla. The search for justification will continue :-)

Saw the new Y on the freeway and it looks really nice. The external updates (front light bar., rear light bar) are enough to make it different but still looks like a Y.

I still don't like the single iPad interface and now they have an iPad mini for the backseat. :)

Drove 2 different ICEs in the last 2 days... EV dynamics have spoiled me.
I think the only time I drive ICE is when I rent a car and I've rented Audis, BMWs, Japanese, American (yeah I know the rentals are usually the low end models) and the driving experience is always subpar. I also have to remember to turn off the car and to lock it lol..

My wife does the same thing. Her daily driver is an EV, and whenever she borrows my ICE car, she forgets to turn it off after parking. 😂
