Hah! You can't fool me... that's a trick to give bk access to my hard drive so he can erase all the pictures of my 3-car garages.

Nice try Wile E. Coyote.

[quote author="CK" date=1244088380][quote author="bkshopr" date=1244083865]I have been keeping a log of users sign in habit and duration. From the log I have been able to track members for the last 8 months for the various category's: unemployed, stay home moms, when she picks up her kids from school, employees with specific lunch hours, when people leave work and the time it took them to get home. When they prepare meal for family, their dinner time frame before logging back in at night, when the users go to bed. I am also able to track habit and meeting time by pattern that determine fixed schedule and flexible schedule to gauge self employed or employee status. If you want to modify your pattern then it is already too late.

I have no access to ISP information and I am not affliated with the moderators. Information is purely for data mining and for future marketing research.

Panda. I did offset your time by 2 hours.</blockquote>

Interesting. You should get an account on Facebook, I learn all sorts of things about random people on there.</blockquote>

Tracking IHB was a full time job the last 8 months may be now I should do the Facebook thing. I really do not want to get too personal and that is not good for data. I generalize and simplify my data otherwise I will lose my audience (clients).

This is what I would recommend for my client in the case of a IHO type of buyer. Save money on the aesthetic detailing and product floor plan development but cheapen the architecture to a box but provide large rooms, double doors, and spacious room inside. Since the frontal garage conceal a majority of the elevation so less work is needed to dress up the front of the homes.

Downsize the rear yard and push the house to the rear and make room for a huge driveway at the front.

Zovall, did you just create this phantom sign in preference? or it has been there since you revised the format?

I still see my handle but it has an (*) next to it. Any one else see me handle?

Close... but floorplan design is huge to me... moreso than the outside aesthetics or a 3-car garage because if it's not a functional place for me to live (most people do live on the INSIDE of a house)... it's not going to work.

I don't really want the house pushed to the back... a large front yard is more useless to me than a rear yard. That's why that porte cochere style is okay to me... you get a huge driveway but you get more footage out of your house than wasting it with a front yard.

It doesn't necessarily need to be box... but I do prefer it to not be closed in... that would mean high ceilings, large windows and open areas. I would like the kitchen/nook/family room to be one huge space since that's where my family hangs out a most of the time.

I would like flex room on the first floor to provide a place for either a toy room, guest room, office or 2nd TV room. Two bathrooms on the first floor would be great too... when you have a family... an extra toilet is always helpful.

I want an entrance foyer... I prefer that when guests step through the front door... they have a "landing area" rather than being smack dab in the middle of the living room.

The stairs should be open... not boxed into some u-turn narrow elevator shaft... I want to be able to see the handrails all the way to the second floor and be able to have a conversation with someone who is on the second floor from the the first floor.

If the garage isn't going to be a 3-car wide garage it should either be big enough or have a tandem so I can store stuff in. I don't want to pay Mini-Storage money every month so I can drive there to lug my Christmas decorations out. I want a place to do stuff that I can't do inside the house.

My back yard should be usable. It doesn't need to be football field but I should be able to extend the living space out so I can have friends over for a BBQ or my little ones can blow bubbles and run after them. It should have a patio that can double as a deck for the master.

The master should be large... a retreat would be nice... and the master bath should be opulent... two walk-in closets please, one for her and one for... her again.

No pink stucco. If I had my druthers... no stucco at all. But I'm reasonable... function over form but it should look decent too.

There... you can put that in your 'IHO File'.

It's always been there (since the new format). The * means that your screen name won't appear in the list when others view it.

Your handle is not showing in the active list as of the time I am writing this.

Zovall, you are a visionary in overseeing the potential stalker issue. Did you and IR, Graph, and other moderators sit down and draft the IHB constitution like our founding fathers?

lol, the credit for that feature goes to the developers of this software platform. We couldn't have anticipated all these issues ourselves ;)

I do not like the phantom sign in. It feels like being a Watergate stalker. I prefer others know that I am signed in and they are being tracked.

Can we get the logs of ourselves via PM? I'd like to see what mine looks like...and your analysis with it.

Also, how did you do this BK? by hand or some program?

Is this limited to the amount of time you are logged in BK?

Simple old fashion hand charts and most have very consistent pattern except for Cayci who ponies all night long.

BK - I think where you would find a lot of value in Facebook is the "pages" section of the profiles. That is where someone can become a fan of certain products, places, or services --- and then follow those (recieve regular updates). For instance, you would find in my pages that I am following things like (name and FB category):

LA Lakers (Sports teams)

Disneyland (Parks)

Top Chef (TV show)

Gwen Stefani (Musician)

Target (Retail)

Honda (Automotive)

Red Mango (Store)

The Hat (Resturant)

LV (Products) --- you knew that was on there!

This is just a sampling of the 28 different things I am a fan of and getting regular update on. I would think if you could mine this data for a group of people, you could get quite a lifestyle profile.

When IHO mentioned earlier that my data mining would scare away members I thought about the contrary that member felt that they matter enough to be part of a analytical statistic that helps to improve product development that is relative to their lives.

BTW:

That special login trick doesn't affect the statistics page on your public profile right?

I assume that's where bk is getting much of his time-stamped data.

I'm off to make my new IHB account ala PANDA-style... oh wait... PANDA is my other IHB account.

[quote author="freedomCM" date=1244097749]since i'm not an irvine home shopper, i'm glad to know that my data isn't in BK's list.</blockquote>

Not so fast mister. I have you on my flow chart with arrows pointing to MCM, Modern Ranch, Cliff May, Eichler, Schulman and many other categories.

Wait, you aren't mining the data from an actual log for the website (which Z would have to hand over to you)? Or are you?
