Where you were raised.

Thanks for the clarification SoCal, just a little reminder for me that I actually live within 10 miles of where I grew up, so strange. I actually voted right even though I misunderstood.

I'd consider my hometown to be Scottsdale, Arizona. But your definition is where we were raised. Though I lived over half my life in Scottsdale, I didn't move there until I was 16. You need a "lots of places" option for people like me. The list is below:

Columbus, Ohio

San Antonio, Texas

Wichita Falls, Texas

Glasgow, Montana

Omaha, Nebraska

San Diego, California

Santa Monica, California

Canoga Park, California

Newhall, California

Northridge, California

Las Vegas, Nevada

Denton, Texas

Scottsdale, Arizona.

Thirteen moves before the age of 16? I can't even imagine. I moved into the house my parents bought from down the street at three years old and didn't move again until I was 18. It's hard to imagine what your life must have been like coming from my perspective. What was the reason for all of the moves, Winex?

Grew up in Minnetonka, Minnesooootaaaah. Moved to Manhattan Beach in 1995, and never departed the Left Coast. Did a 4 year tour in the Bay Area from 2001-05. Found my way to Irvine after that. I probably won't be leaving Irvine until its time to go 6 feet deep.

Actually 22. Some of the moves were to different parts of the same city. Except for 7th and 8th grade, I went to a different school every year of public school. The story behind it all is kind of long.

But I'm curious.

Not only curious but it makes me feel sad. I only mean this seriously, I am so sorry. As a parent, every story I hear makes me think of my own children and I can't imagine putting them through that.

Hmmm, if the housing density thing you are working on doesn't work out, maybe there is something you can do to improve that...

Yes, WINEX, I'd like to hear your story too. Military brat?
