Not the one that wasn't maintained. Been on the market for over a month (and they inflated the sq footage to reduce the price per sq foot).
The one that looked better than the last time they listed it (shined up the floors, staged it, photoshopped landscaping at night etc).... that one went pending. (and they reduced the sq footage back down to what was on the original floorplan from the inflated sq footage the last time it sold).
I know from being in that house many times and seeing the "now" photos that they didn't do anything to it but a few small plants in the front yard for color, nice staging, shined up the floors and better photos.
The original owners were really upset they didn't sell for more but they just didn't want to stage it, take down their gaudy multi colored crystal chandeliers they were taking anyway, put any money into having a marble company shine the floors, etc. Their realtor did very little for thembut they didn't help themselves either. Shining the floors would have been a few hundred bucks. For a $2 million home? Come on. Floors were in style 20 years ago but dated now at least shine them up.
