I agree, but I still question Viper's motives.

But if Viper is sincere, I'll volunteer to be his new best friend in Coto. I can see myself with a welcome basket of homemade chocolate chip cookies in one hand holding my pool towel and sunblock in the other hand. :-P

Awgee, ..you are very correct. Those who grew up with money (Parents were wealthy), have no clue about the "Value of a dollar".

Look at Paris Hilton. She never has to worry about money for her entire life. People like this, tend to spend and shop like no tomorrow, because they don't realise how difficult it is to earn even $100 working a "normal job".

Others, like me, who originally grew up in the middle class, and through hard work, dedication, and God's grace, have managed to earn their money, tend to be more value conscious. For me, there are some things I value, and some things I dont.

Jewlery - I don't wear any, and do not own any gold rings or jewlery. I don't even have a watch. My I-Phone is my time keeper.

Cars - Yes, I'll spend top dollar for them. Enzo, Lamborghini, Viper, Escalade....any day.

Clothing - Macy's, Sears, JC Penny, and suits from 3 Day Suit Broker. (no Nordstroms, no Men's Warehouse, or any speciality store).

Food - I love fast food like Carl's JR, Subway, and Johnny Rockets, Fat Burger, Red Robin, etc (Houston's in Pasadena is a nice treat for me after closing a good deal). Actually, I am a half decent cook, and love to cook at home in my spare time.

Housing - I have never owned a home larger than 3400 sqft. But business is good, and I really want to purchase a huge house and not have move for the next 15-20 years. (It's a thank you to me for working heard all these years).

CalGal, you'll be the first I invote to the house warming party, my promise!!!!

Just give me some time to get to know everyone on the board. (I know I am a new member)

Believe me, I am not looking to scam that homeowner, I wanted to purchast that home (through my company), but someone beat me to it.

So I am hoping I can find the new owner, and offer him a small profit to sell the home to me.

Thanks....and Happy 4th everyone,

UZY

OK - I'm going to hold you to this. :-P

[quote author="irvinesinglemom" date=1215235860]Hey, me too! And, I have an iPhone too! ...ism nudges calgal out of the way... ;-P

LOL. Hey, you didn't get the open house invitation. You may have an iPhone, but you haven't tried my chocolate chip cookies. :-) Maybe I'll bring you along as my guest. %-P

I don't know, Viperman. I still don't think you are sincere. You've made statements on FerrariChat.com that make me believe you're full of it.

Here's one comment where you state you're a realtor which is probably how you were able to get into the estate to view it:

Here's another comment where you stated you needed fast cash from a $14,000 lawsuit. If you are looking to buy a 20+ home, I find it difficult that you need to find a way to get a quick payment on a lawsuit.

Here's a comment where you state you make $120k - $140k with your computer consulting business and you were thinking of going to med school.

Here's a comment where you were looking for 100% financing on your new home. Now, I'm not a mortgage broker, but I really don't think a bank would give 100% financing on a 20 million dollar property to someone who makes $140k per year.

Now, maybe you have inherited money from mommy and daddy, but a previous comment on IHB stated that you worked hard for your money. To quote you: Others, like me, who originally grew up in the middle class, and through hard work, dedication, and God?s grace, have managed to earn their money, tend to be more value conscious.

So, basically, until I walk in the door to the open house for your new multi-million dollar home, I don't think I'm going to believe a word you write.

I must be more cynical. New user + one of 1st post is about buying $20M property = no credibility. No credibility being a euphemistic pleasantry.

Here he is on FerrariChat, talking about the same house. Seems like he's fishing for something, I just don't know what. Maybe his ex bought it and he's a palimony type guy.....There's also a pic of him on that post.

Hey all

I don't understand why his re agent didn't use technology to make an offer even if the agent was on a vacation. With Winforms it is easy to complete the offfer send it electronically to the buyer to sign and then forward to the listing agent.

I have done several transactions since moving from SoCal in that manner. Since I have my (949) cell prefix the other agent isn't aware that I am out of the area.

The client, of course was fully aware, and my partner handled all of the onsight items. Hell, for a portion of a negotiated commission on a transaction of that amount even I would cancell my vacation. Most agents at that level have teams and would never let a vacation interfere with representing a client.

Is his name a play on a UZI machinegun?

Inquireing minds want to know???

Enjoy!

The listing link showed John McMonigle as the selling broker???

I remember seeing in the private notes that the listing was co-brokered by both McMonigle and Bowen.
