Who has a ROOMBA ?

re: cat barf. Don't think it's a good idea if any of that gets sucked in to the unit ! Probably would ruin it....directions say not to let anything moist get into it. I'd just say to do a quick check around before you launched the thing.

Worked great on my wood floors, so I'd think it would do the same on tile.

I've gotten so tired of Swiffering up the cat fur, this little guy is a blessing ! AND it gets under the couch and furniture, places I LOATHE to Swiffer.

Update: It took the unit 35 minutes to re-charge itself. I just cleaned it and found it very easy to remove the brushes/sweeper for easy cleaning. I was pretty surprised at how much stuff I emptied out of the bin, too ! Had to use scissors to cut the (long) cat hair out of the brushes, but that isn't anything I don't have to do with my regular vacuum cleaner.

In total, it took me about 5 mins to thoroughly clean and de-hair the Roomba. Easy to put back together, too.

On closer inspection of my shag area rug, it didn't seem to do the greatest job. It is pretty high pile shag.... will try and use one of the "lighthouses" next time to just confine it to the rug. That should do the trick.

This definitely beats vacuuming the old fashioned way.
