Marty....

Hoo-leee Crap! Didn't know about that, I knew they've gotten into trouble with the INS as well as other three letter agenices. IMHO, not a very good thing, no matter what your reasons are.

marty,

Perhaps you could share with us some links to investigative material from a reputable source that documents the racist associations of the Minutemen?

Ok this has gone way off topic and is approaching Godwin's Law. Let's just get back on topic before it gets out of hand.

Please don't make today be the first time I have to delete comments.

I'd pay a $1mil for a nice large house in the Tustin Hills that has a view. What do you guys think of North Tustin?

My opinion, don't buy right now. If you want to then look for something like this:

http://www.ziprealty.com/buy_a_home/logged_in/search/home_detail.jsp?listing_num=P586356&page=1&property_type=SFR&mls=mls_so_cal&cKey=9j6zr732&source=SOCALMLS

If you make an offer of 1 million you might get it.

Buy where you like, keep making offers of around 1M until you get what you want. Really. But i'd also take it with a grain of salt that home prices are devaluating and anything you buy right now will be going down in price quicly. Hold on to that money and even if it is in a 3-4 mo CD it will be at least 5-6% greater than before. SO after a year or so with a few more percent saved as well as a few more percent grown in a CD combined with a few percent drop in housing values, you'll be farther ahead. Maybe MUCH farther ahead.
