[quote author="no_vaseline" date=1232328653]Dude,

You're not snarky. Just dumb.

Sorry for your luck bro.</blockquote>

I must of said something that really pushed one of no vas's button.

[quote author="SoCal78" date=1232330591]I like Panda's investigative qualities. The intelligent people in life seem to be those who are curious. They are the ones who ask questions, gather info, and have a love of learning. The questions make for good topics of conversation here.</blockquote>

Curious is fine. But this is like somebody in the produce department of the supermarket grouping fruit by how close to being rotted it is. Sure there's some sound reasoning behind it, but does it <em>really</em> make any sense?

I sincerely think Panda's heart is in the right place, but his head................is consistantly somewhere else.

SoCal isn't like Chicago where there are good parts of town followed by bad parts of town. In a 10 block area between Villa Park and Orange and Santa Ana, you go from some of the most expensive properties in Southern California (Villa Park, Cowin Heights in Santa Ana) to some steadily middle class neighborhoods (most of Orange) to some absolute shitholes filled with transient illegal aliens (El Moderna). The area around Main Street Place is the same way with working class Garden Grove a couple blocks away, Park Santiago and Floral Park on the other side, and some of the worst apartments in the City of Orange north of La Veta.

Cliffs Notes: When you go from the Penthouse to the Outhouse and back again in a dozen blocks, surveys like this are beyond useless.

No vas, I am almost certain that i do not know the geography of OC like you do. The reason i conducted this poll was because i was curious to know what percentage of the poll are people living in Irvine compared to the rest of OC. I was also interested in knowing what percentage of the people came from affluent cities (i.e. newport coast, newport beach etc.) and cities that had similar demographics as that of Irvine. I was also curious to know how many out-of-staters like myself would be IHB on a daily basis. That one out-of-stater vote is from me, so I am assuming there is only 3-4 of us in total. (CalGal, LawyerLiz, etc.)

This is poll is statistically significant as you can see that more than 80% of the people who are on IHB are from similar demographics or in close proximity from Irvine. These were the most important information I was trying to gather to satisfy my curiousity. I did not mean to cause any confusion with this poll.

No vas, Why you gotta hurt the Panda's feelings and call him a dummy?

Because you can't acomplish what you are trying to acomplish the way you are trying to acomplish it.

At a minimum, it's invasive and you look creepy. If you had bad breath I'd tell you that too.

I don't see why everyone is so bothered by the poll. I can understand the questions to why the cities were grouped the way they were, but Panda answered, and everyone is still all hot and bothered. Panda grouped them the way HE wanted for HIS reasons to satisfy HIS curiousity and HIS poll... You didn't have to answer--but it sure looks like alot of people did by the numbers in the poll...

Oh yes, Panda is very creepy and I know that you are white as snow.

Duh. I actually posted a real picture of me here.

I have a new avatar coming at 2K.

[quote author="Trooper" date=1232344654]....or if he had bamboo stuck in his teeth. No_Vas, you are a true friend!</blockquote>

Thank you. True friends tell you the ugly unconfortable truth, where the rest of the posers you consider friends just keep thier mouths shut and laugh at you behind your back.

Who would you rather have as a friend? Me, or Wilson?

Not untrue, but those are a skill set I never got. I don't have that extra chromosome to walk a tightrope or ride a unicycle either.

I?m not justifying this, and I?m not looking for any sympathy. I?m sure I pissed off more than a couple of people, and I?m confident I hurt Panda?s feelings. I didn?t do it to win brownie points. I did it because nobody else would. I would hope if I was out of line someone would extend me a similar courtesy.

The truth is what the truth is, and being subtle about it wasn't getting through to Panda. Somebody needed to tell him.

You're the $50M Dollar Man?

Shit or get off the pot... Friend.

Seriously, choosing between Chit-town and Cali, that's a no brainer.

I left NJ and landed in Socal w/ a duffle bag and $300, I haven't looked back since. "The west is the best".

And earth quakes are fun when they aren't killing people.

NV, you got good people skillz... Sike!
