When do you plan on buying and where in Irvine?

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
[quote author="SoCal78" date=1249530949][quote author="RobertLarsen" date=1249529751]I give respect to those that deserve respect. I suggest others should probably brush up on a few of those rules. You're only limiting the value of the forums contact by acting like this; I see why everyone on here agrees with one another, because the outside opinions get treated like its a witch in Salem. Don't be afraid of new opinions.

It's been attacks left and right since my first post, and I just came here to have civil conversations about real estate. Let me know if I should leave.

But, I will apology to Madonna because it seems she did receive the brunt of my frustration with this forum and other members.</blockquote>

Well, honey, that's what <em>grace </em>is... giving respect to people who don't deserve it. Find it and use it. I can tell you're the kind who has to dig deep to find it, but I know you can do it. If you're talking about my problem-child, Graph, you have to understand that's just how he is and he's actually much more light-hearted than you would ever believe. I didn't believe it myself until I met him in person. ;-) No, we don't mind new opinions at all. Just keep it real and respectful. Nobody is asking you to leave at all. In fact, I'd like to see you stay and I hope you will. Thank you for stepping up to the plate with the apology. You deserve your first thumb's up for that. Good job.</blockquote>

Well then, I apologize again, as Graph was my first taste of commenting on this blog and it wasn't the most welcoming. Maybe things have started off on the wrong foot.

Oh, that Graphrix. He's nut. He's a cranky nut. His pet peeve is misinformation. He came to my neigbhorhood and tried to take a picture of me in '07. And it was my first week on this forum. Let me tell you. I hid under my bed and closed all the blinders for 3 days/nights. Haha!!

Robert, don't mind graphrix. He is the master hazer on ihb. When I first joined he practically raped me. Welcome!

He got the best of me.

People are just crawling the web looking for gossip on me right now, it's kind of funny. I've had 7 search results, from just what my blog has recorded, on"Robert Larsen," Robert Larsen Orange County," "Robert Larsen, Real Estate, Orange County." and "Robert Larsen real estate irvine."Guys, like I said, I'm 25... how much information could there be about me out there?

[quote author="RobertLarsen" date=1249530794]And just for clearification, if I start a comment with "Look here, Grandpa." And, I'm not saying age even a negative, but using it in a negotive connotation like your "Kid" remark. Is that going to be acceptable? I'm just looking for mutual respect here...</blockquote>

Robert, I'm a parent to all boys and have four nephews your age so I meant it in a harmless way as I do with them. If you prefer, in the future I will be happy to address you as Robert or Rob (Bob?). To answer your question: You can call me whatever you want. How you wish to project your image is really up to you.

Oh, since you put it that way. I am lucky. =)

Anything you prefer, doesn't really matter to me. I was just making a point that my hostility wasn't unfounded, which I'm completely over now. This was suppose to be my article submission time, but it got carried away. For the record, old people rule. If I was able to sport those t-shirts around I would.

the only attacks ive read were criticisms of your website, questioning whether or not you have read the basic posts which outline what this website is pretty much about, and examining what you said in your mini-bio post... in my opinion, really nothing to get so upset about..

i suppose if people i have never met called my blog ugly, then i would get offended too... but then again, if i were to supply my blog, or even publish it on the web for that matter, then i would have some confidence in the site, and maybe not get flustered by the opinions of internet ppl? btw, i think your blog looks fine..

if you want to have some discussions pertaining to real estate analysis, and stumble upon a site where the analytical posts seem to be counter to your position, why wouldnt you want to read up just a little on where people are coming from? i guess i could goto occoastalnews and leave a comment containing some analysis that contradict your conclusions, without reading or addressing any of the analytical posts that make up your blog, but then you might get upset at me, and tell me to go read your prior posts, exhibits A-Z, proving how wrong i am..

personally, i believed what you said about yourself and background.. you could have said whatever, and i would believe you, because this is the internet, and the only interaction with you i will ever have are through this site, so it really doesnt matter to me... that being said, it seems most posters on here like that thing called transparency, and accountability, and really take people to task when there is even an inkling of doubt regarding the stated truth..

anyhow, i look forward to reading the future back and forth discussions about south oc real estate i hope will come

LR, I know McDonna and her husband personally and they are good people so the comment you made about her was hurtful and uncalled for so I hope that you apologized to her via PM. You will come to find that there are some really great people on this forum. I have been fortunate enough to meet many of them in person and am even grateful that I'm able to represent some of them as their realtor. All opinions/analysis are welcome but just be ready to back up your opinion/analysis to earn credibility. As a realtor, you have access to information that most people on here don't have so if you can give back to the forum by sharing that information with the members on here it will be appreciated and make for a better forum.

I've said about all that I'm going to say. Maybe some people should learn to ask for clearification or ask a polite question before aggresively accusing someone of lying. I'm sure there are some really great people on here, and I've already recognized a few. But, from what I've read so far on past threads, IHB doesn't like opposing opinions and instead of refuting with facts, it gets personal.

And Scman has been trying to bribe me with coupons so I can meet him in person. We're still in negotiation as to whether he should give up his El Pollo Loco or La Salsa coupon. He's a tough negotiator I tell you. Haha!

Yes, I agree. I stopped debating for this reason. It gets too passionate and I end up cranky like graphrix. =)

Now, I spend my time on the "restaurant complaints" thread. Haha! ....And that's how I met the coupon King, Scman.
