What do you think of this house?

I don?t know the area.

House is big and looks very nice.

New construction, priced over $1M in ?06.

If you could afford it 700K seems like a good deal to me

$700K is not cheap but it's not outrageously over price either. When I came down in 2004 from NorCal, similar house in Fullerton was going for $600K(Sunny Hills high school).

My realtor is saying with these market conditions to offer 700k and a 30 day escrow..Countrywide wants the house off of their books asap, preferably by the end of the year.

Thoughts??</blockquote>

Pretty house, but I have no idea what those homes are currently selling for. I do know that I would not make an offer based on what "my realtor" told me. Your realtor only gets paid if you make an offer high enough to close a deal. His interest is to get you to pay as much as possible. Do your own research.

get good fire insurance if you buy 600 yards from chino hills SP.

Nice house, but you will be able to buy the same one next year for $600k, maybe less. There is a whole lot of vacant inventory around that house.
