Dave Ramsey style - don't buy a car, if your car still works. Buy a used car if you need to buy a car.

His main philosophy - pay down debt by any means. Set a budget and live by it. Make sacrifices to achieve the GOAL. (don't go out, eat at home)

Or OS style -- buy far less house than you can afford so you can enjoy life, drive to a nice restaurant in your newly leased car and not have to listen to Dave Ramsey all day.
Or just work harder and pay for everything in cash. haha
Yup

I think people get stuck in the mode using their credit cards, to earn rewards/points. Then they spend what they can't afford to pay.

Let me tell you a secret - that's how credit card companies make money. (Late payment fees, interest on the balance)

I don't know why Homer drives a Lamborghini when he drives it at Irvine speed and I could beat him walking along Sand Canyon. That Darth shield he's wearing is so cool!

My car is chick magnet and not a guy magnet.. I have to drive it at irvine speed so the ladies can catch up to it  :P
My car caught your eyes (and ears) when we were driving on Irvine Blvd.  :P

I was trying to find out where that loud obnoxious noise was coming from  :P

Dave Ramsay is for your average joe.

Some of the wealthiest people I know made their $$ with debt - they saved their cash capital and used other people's $$ to make their profits.  ;)

I heard there was a recall for the 500e power inverter defect. Did you get that fixed?

Just bought it but I will check tomorrow with the dealership, thanks for the heads up. Its the wife's car and she wanted a plug in for her 8 mile commute.

My back ground are all new BMWs and Mercedes and this car will give my old 535 a run for its money. I cannot tell you how impressed I am with this car. I went with the signature edition and the stereo is phenomenal. I need to keep telling myself its a Hyundai?

just take a blow dryer to all of the emblems and you dont have to look away when people look at you for driving a hyundai :-)

The old Genesis lets you opt out of the Hyundai emblem/badging, is it true for the new Genesis as well?
