What are you looking forward to most?

NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
I'm also looking forward to regaining this country's good name. Hopefully, the World is seeing the huge overflowing and jubilant crowd that is currently celebrating out in front of 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue. And it's really cold....and it's 1:00 in the morning ! ;)

Poop. I thought I had heard otherwise.

Maybe now we'll be better thought of by other countries. I just hope Bush doesn't blow up the world or something on his way out the door.

I thought Obama showed a ton of class last night during his acceptance speech. Finally, it appears we have a President we can be proud of.

Speaking of Bush, I'm looking forward to not seeing his face, not hearing his voice, or even reading his name.

I've had some really nice e-mails from Friends in the UK and Australia, they're all absolutely delighted and so am I!!

Obama's speech was absolutely unbelievable...and yes, you should be very proud of your President, I know I am!!

No offense, but I'll be proud when he does something other than deliver a speech. He won, but 47% of the country didn't vote for him and he has a lot, A LOT, of expectations being put on him by people who don't agree on a great many of issues. I am proud of citizens of America for putting aside their bias (except you, California) and selecting the best candidate, but Obama hasn't really done anything but stand up and say "pick me". I voted for him, and I wish him well, but now he actually has to do more than just talk.

Oh, I know what you mean. He has a lot of work to do to meet the expectations of voters both for and against. I just think that he'll do better than what we currently have. Of course, having a Democratic Congress might help, too. And I also know that, just because he says he'll do something for us, doesn't mean it will happen, either immediately or in the future.

Time will tell, but I feel more hopeful than I did when Bush was re-elected four years ago.
