NEW -> Contingent Buyer Assistance Program
Marriott also tries to control resale of theirs. If you buy through them, you can bank the week for points every other year. If you buy resale, you don't get the same types of options with points.

I just got back from a stay there last weekend. booked 2 nights on SPG points.

Overall the place was pretty nice, and just up some steps from the village gondola which takes you to the base of the mountain. From what I saw, there were a decent number of people going in and out of there this past weekend, but the check-in counter was rather small. only 3-4 stations at full capacity, but the staff there seemed to be on the low side. Probably becasue it's new though. The Whitebark restaurant located in the main small lobby had a full bar, although I wasn't able to sample any of their food. The room I stayed in was a standard jr. suite and the kitchenette was on the small, slightly cramped side, but will work for fixing some small meals. the restroom was a decent size, and the room layout makes good use of the space. Despite being somewhat short-staffed, they did a great job as far as valet and room service is concerned. the front driveway is rather small, so coupled with the small checkin counter, this could be an issue when traffic is higher.
