the plan 1s are now 675K (started at 650K), the plan 2s are 710K (started at 725K) and plan 3s are now 755K (started at 800K).

i knew the plan threes were going to tank. so this is about a 5% drop in the plan 3s. interesting pricing strategy to though to bring up the plan 1s to 675K. i guess they want to sell more plan 2s and threes?

found out more on the price changes.  original pricing had solar package baked into price but they decided to take them out for plan 2 and 3s.  technically all are higher priced than original phase with the solar package in.  at least thats the way i understood it this weekend speaking to the sales folks there

the plan 3 is very nice...i wish TIC would build something like that in WB vs products like san marino which feel so small.
 
Rkp - did u see how many sold buttons they had? They had about 4 back in January.

That explanation they gave u can't be the entire reason for the price adjustment. Sunpower is the provider of their solar systems and if u bought a house they would give u a certificate from sunpower with the retail value of the solar system, which was about 15k, that was the basis for them advertising that u could be eligible for a 5k credit on your tax return (30% of 15k). You know kb was not paying more than maybe 5-7k for the solar system, that does not seem to translate to a 45-50k price reduction.

The real answer is slow sales and they are selling the price drop as excluding the solar system. They must think their customers are real idiots.
 
qwerty - you are probably right...i didnt really poke around and was more curious in the location and layout.  i didnt look closely at the pin count but they said a couple reservations are falling out so some "choice" lots are opening up

i think there is more room on price negotiation.  i got the feeling that they were really eager to sell
